Curious. I had an art show last Friday which I spent a bit of time preparing for. I hadn't shown for awhile. My arr is very original and people are sometimes taken aback by my technique. The show was weird, like people were leery of making eye contact, speaking, and slowing down to browse.
No one was really interested in looking.
Skittish.
But that's where we are socially globally.
Art and music heal.

Funny thing about Mom. My dad got custody of me after my Mom ran off with the neighbor and left me all summer with my stepdad. The judge asked me who I wanted to live with and I chose my dad although I didn't want to hurt my Mom. She had also tried to commit suicide so she wasn't very stable at that time. I was 9 at the time. I am now in my 60's and my Mom is still alive. She had a lot of counseling and grew a lot and I love her very much. We communicate often but there is/was some distance for my wellbeing. Anyway, your take on some kind of distance from 'Mom' was spot on lol ❤
