Hungarian Folk Dance from Kalocsa | Ensembel Rajkó

Burgenland is the smallest of Austria's nine federal states. Eisenstadt is the provincial capital - where this concert will take place at Esterházy Palace as part of the Austrian ORF program. Kalocsa is a small town in the south of Hungary and one of the oldest towns in the country. The wedding dance of Kalocsa, presented by the Rajkó Folk Ensemble from Hungary, revives old Hungarian traditions.
The ORF Tirol folk music program "Mei liabste Weis" has been broadcast throughout Austria since 1988. In 2003, the idea was born for presenter Franz Posch to play music himself in every episode.
