Hey Parth! I am your avid follower and I simply love your video content. I am stuck in a situation. I appeared for my VISA interview at Mumbai Consulate on 26th nov for MS in data science program at Northeastern university. I have been give a 221g blue slip and was asked to provide further documentation. It may be because I have previously worked on sensitive technologies. Can you throw some light on the us visa administrative processing and how much time it would take to issue a visa once you submit the documents.

Hi Prabal.......first of all don't worry......it is a 99% approval for your visa.
If your passport was kept along with some documents....then you will probably receive your visa within a week.(generally pink/white/green slip)
If your passport was returned and you were asked to submit some additional documents....you can expect to have your visa by 32-40 days after the date of submission of your documents.(generally blue slip)(You'll get an email from the consulate asking to resubmit your passport)
The visa officers have to run a background check for people who have worked on subjects in the USA's Technical Alert List subjects.......and they also have to give a decision at the interview....that's why the slip mentions that your application has been rejected/denied.
Chill out..you'll soon have your visa. Hope this helps!
