  • I have always wanted to learn how to airbrush my bath bombs. So, I was super excited to finally try it and I want to share my experience with you. My assistant, Hannah, and I have literally never touched an airbrush. So, please don't regard our comments as "expert" advice. I purchased an adorable little cosmetic airbrush system that was delivered super fast in like one day. It was super easy to use straight out of the box. We noticed it does tend to clog, so be sure to watch the consistency of your mica and rubbing alcohol mixture. We started with two micro scoops of mica to one teaspoon of rubbing alcohol for airbrushing the bath bombs. Then you can easily adjust from there. We absolutely love how much dimension airbrushing has added to our bath bombs. It is really fun and addictive. I highly suggest trying it, and hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Watch for part two where we have a few more fruit molds we will use, and I will package them up in a fun basket.

What is the ratio of mica to RA?

I'm curious if you use less Mica with an airbrush then with regular painting. I am on the fence, love the look of the air brushing though!
