Mix the perlite outside whenever possible, and even then, wear a mask.

Ohhhhh that jade plant is a beauty! I live for the day that I can own a jade plant of that size with a thick trunk & branches.

Is it pkay to use pro mix HP instead of promix BX? Does it give same result?
Or if I use potting soil with mycorrhizae and add perlite to it, is that a good substitute?

I heard pumice is better to use than perlite ? Is that correct ?

Perilite tends to float to the top of the soil. I prefer to use chicken grit or pea gravel. Way cheaper

What's a high "perosity" potting soil? - I think that's how you spell perosity? 😂

Hey! Sorry I should have explained it in the video 😂 high porosity soil means it already doesn’t hold water well and allows water to drain quickly. It has fewer nutrients compared to other soils but for succulents, that is fine because they don’t need as many nutrients as say, a tropical plant.
