- I've been so excited about this pattern hack since designing this pattern!
So this is like a 3 for 1 pattern hack. In this sew-a-long, we do the following hacks:
- take out the center seam
- create a band finish for the neckline
- remove the sleeves
I did a picot finish with my serger on both the sleeves and the bottom hem. You could also finish it with a basic hem or lettuce hem as well.
I definitely plan on making more of these for the summer!

I love how it came out. I'm not really wearing dresses and skirts at the moment but when I'm in that mood this would be so nice to have! I definitely love the neckband.
I feel like I go through anti-dress times too
Love it. Girl, you know you are bad when you can sew with one hand.
😂😂😂😂
I love a cute throw on and go especially in this heat!
Saaaaame
It's super hot up north too! But we do have central air. . . so thankful! Love the pattern & the hacks!
Right now I still don’t have AC upstairs so I’m so happy that central air is on.
How you made that V for the neck band was spectacular!
Thank you!!!
You have Amazing Skills❣️🤗😍🤩

Hi aaronica! Thanks for the video! I am a plus size girly, and I am having a difficult time finding patterns i can actually make for myself. Truly non-existent. I have decided to try to make my own clothes bc i get so uncomfortable at the stores. Do you have any tips on self drafting and any recommendations on starting?
I might add that I am a 61 in bust, 58 in waist and 63 in hips and I haven't been able to find any patterns that even have their finished garments touching such numbers :(
For some ready made patterns I highly suggest Muna & Broad, Cashmerette, Made for Mermaids and Patterns for Pirates as your measurements are already included in these patterns. Cashmerette offers a course that’s specific for plus sized baddies to help with adjusting a sloper for self-drafting.
@@AaronicaBColeCo thank you so much!!
