- We cross the Channel from St Malo to Portsmouth. We the naval history of Portsmouth, Neil gets to visit his father's old home and we take a tour of the Victory.
A couple of middle-aged Kiwis travelling the world by plane, train and motorhome. The kids left home and so did we! We’re not professionals, we’re not experts, we just like to record what we see and do. Enjoy!

Great place to visit - you will have to come back and 'do' Warrior, Mary Rose and the other exhibits! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more adventures.
Thanks for watching! We really enjoyed Portsmouth, so much to see. Next time we will have to stay longer!
As beautiful as those places are that you've visited, there's "no place like home". Whew! I'm exhausted just hearing Neil spout off all the countries you visited within the past 6 months...and I'm only a viewer. I can imagine how road-weary you are, yet grateful to have experienced all the sights, sounds, and tastes of Europe (including Scandinavia and the Baltic states), along with fairly good weather and a safe sojourn, thus far. Take Care and God Bless the rest of your homeward bound trip.
There's certainly no place like home! We've loved our adventures so far but there's a bit of weariness creeping in. I think the next couple of legs will give us a boost :)
Great video Thankyou for sharing , what a great adventure you have both had the last few months , you have shown us some fab places to visit , thanks again 😀👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Glad you have been enjoying the videos. Thanks for your support and comments:)
Wow, you have done some miles guys...and now you’re in the U.K., welcome both! Another great vlog, your ferry journey looked relaxing, plus super filming in Portsmouth...looking forward to more 😎👍👍👍💕
The ferry was great. In fact we've enjoyed all the ferry rides, especially as it's something we don't do at home. We found travelling on them easy and efficient!
Are you interested in finding a fish & chip shop anywhere in the U.K. that STILL cooks in the traditional tallow? If so, please do feature it. All the best with the rest of your travels.
We've had some good fish and chips in the UK but don't think tallow was involved in any of them :)
