Hi, guys! Okay, to fill you in a bit...You HAVE seen her from time to time. She's always in the ABS-CBN summer and Chrstmas station IDs.
This song is very timely, very new, related to the closing of ABS. While ABS was in the hotseat, several of its stars expressed their pain and disappointment, including her. She was so hurt, she didn't realize that what she was saying was confusing. She rambled on and made an analogy like there are rules in the classroom. For instance, no one is allowed to go out -- Bawal lumabas. She failed to make her words clear because she was emotional. People were quick to bash her. Then some guy made a little dance track out of the voice clip. People actually made a dance challenge out of it. She felt worse. But then she had an epiphany and decided to rise above the situation. One FB poster giving her advice through open letter helped. So what she did was to go on live vlog with both the guy who made the track and the other who gave advice. The result: they decided to reinvent the track and do a collab. She and the adviser worked on the positive lyrics. The end result was this. And it became a hit as well! Notice that she doesn't sing the chorus here. That's 'cause it's from her actual rambling.
I personally am not a fan of the song. Kim, while a good actress, is obviously not really a singer. But for her to turn things around this way is very commendable. That shows character.

It garnered a lot of dislikes because there was an organized campaign by Duterte supporters and paid trolls to dislike the video. This song was borne out of a rambling statement she made against the government’s decision to close ABS-CBN. People started bashing her so she and people who supported her came up with this song...

She was an actress here in the Philippines. The tv network she was in recently got shutdown by the Philippine gov't. The song wasn't a powerful song, it came from a meme of her bad reaction to the Philippine gov't about her tv network. She should be deported to china because she's just part filipina.
