Production quality gone through the roof mate 🔵🙌
People wanna watch you cause you enjoy what you do, so if it's a slow shift but you still enjoy it then it's worth the upload. If it's a shit time then maybe only drop them now and then so the authenticity of your enjoyment is never in doubt
Driving while on the phone is never acceptable.
I started watching you because I was interested in how food delivery works and what the pay was like but stayed and subscribed because of your personality and just the different topic you might random talk about in the video plus the drum and bass is a bonus on the time lapse parts and you always improve your game with the channel and respect your viewers so keep up great work 👍
Who would ever have thought that watching a guy delivering take aways would be so addictive? 😂😂
Just got home from work. About to enjoy the hell out of this video with some popcorn cuz this man makes only 11/10 videos
They have cameras in my town to pick up people using their mobile phones when driving
Just because people on their phone are going forward doesn't mean their eyes are on the road. It's very unsafe!
In Australia they don't let you touch your phone while driving. There are cameras set up to monitor this. In Qld now $1170 fine if you are caught. Certainly makes you think for that money.
Using your phone while driving is often as dangerous as being drunk. It's not just a quick look. It's f***ing dangerous. My dad died to an idiot driver and that's exactly what every single person on their phone while driving is. It's not some casual throwaway comment and I've never actively felt like unsubbing as I do from hearing you say that, massively disappointed and I've been enjoying your content for ages and generally supporting you in comments.
According to the latest Reported Road Casualties Great Britain (2022), 22 people were killed and 674 injured in road traffic collisions where a driver using a mobile phone was considered to be a contributory factor.
Further analysis of the data shows that 4,188 injuries were recorded where there was a ‘distraction in vehicle’, where a mobile device could potentially have played a factor in the collision
(edited after being unable to find the source for something I said)
TLDR You absolutely SHOULD have a problem with people on their phones while driving, ESPECIALLY as a vulnerable user already? (Bikes!) Some daft c*** is gonna go round a corner in to you because they were checking a notification or replying to a text. Hell even if they're not actively using the phone, maybe they just glance it for a second as something beeps. That's all it takes to kill someone on the road.
Look up this study;
A Comparison of the Cell Phone Driver and the Drunk Driver
David L. Strayer, Frank A. Drews, and Dennis J. Crouch, University of Utah, Salt Lake city, Utah
"drunk drivers were more aggressive, tailgated more, and hit the brake pedal harder. Cell phone drivers took longer to hit the brakes, and got in more accidents. "
Given the massive number of deaths & accidents on the road, which are directly the result of phone usage... No-one should be using a phone while driving. It literally takes a second of distraction to cause a serious accident. I personally think it's something that should carry very heavy penalties.
I don't know what sort of insights you have into your audience locations, but I'm from the U.S. and it's really cool seeing an on-bike view of something as every-day as going out and getting food in a country I've never been to.
Cheers, keep up the good work!
Hello. Lots of love from India. I absolutely love watching your videos.
My husband "works from home" and i haven't seen him once play games in his pajamas. Infact he does more work than when he has to commute long hours(that's a different complaint 😅) but not all are to be generalized.
I dont know why people think pwople who do more of mind work can be berated by people who do physical work.
No hate but didnt like you generalizing like that.
Nonetheless its your opinion. A d this is mine. ❤
I work a few days at home a week. The rest I go into office. Working from home for my job helps my pocket and travelling time but when it comes to crunch time overtime is in the mix. Working from office allows me to leave on time...but at times I still have to go home and carry on working. It has its pros and cons lol
🤣 you described my working from home day so well it's like you know me
Love those different camera angles ❤
Amazing how your videos improve in production quality! Love the drone shots at the beginning. Awesome to watch, keep it up mate!
That helmet kinda reminds me of those worn by Tie fighter pilots in Star Wars. 🤪
17:41 yes, it's all about watching you deliver, rather than anything else... especially while I'm eating dinner. 🙂
I just like seeing you deliver food, regardless of how successful/unsuccessful you are. I find it soothing, and I love watching you drive through English streets (I'm an American but have visited England many times and really enjoy it). I like the customer and restaraunts interactions too. I also like to see how much people tip for orders😂. I like the whole thing, keep it up!
Hello from Oz! We enjoy ALL your content - deliveries food or screfix .. literally a view into a world completely unfamiliar to us down under 😁🙃
Really appreciate that comment about not being too mad at the workers as they’ve multiple types of orders and it’s a busy evening. I work in fast food and man the amount of shit we get off customers when we’re busy and they’ve been waiting longer than usual is ridiculous, get some respect.
Working from home, as a manager, means my day is EXACTLY as it would be in the office: One meeting after the next. The difference is: no shirt, no tie, NO TROUSERS..... and the food and coffee are better and I get to cuddle our cats. The only important thing is to remember to put the camera cover on. Or it gets awkward 😀
saving this video for tea time later cant wait love it bro
I love watching you zoom around delivering.
Fellow rider here. I've noticed in recent times when I order food for myself, they ask me to provide card details in order to tip the rider. I don't want to do that. Before I was doing it through PayPal- same way I'm paying for my order still!?! Why pay the order by PayPal, but tipping requires my card?! That surely affects tipping from normal customers as well!
Great production as always, I do the job myself, so whenever I see a video, automatically like straight away just for your effort & editing, its not easy as people think especially when you need to continue to work!the pay is never always great, what actually bothers me is the consistency of the orders coming in that will determine your shift outcome
love your vids, keep them comin!
Love the shoulder cam.
Just moved to Butlins today as I've got a job with live-in accommodation & nice to chill & watch your video on my 1st night here.
If you mean on their phone and moving but on Bluetooth yes, anything else i think you want to see the consequences before saying that. Just cos they’re moving doesn’t mean they’re concentrating
I’ve seen the consequences first hand, but yes I agree on the fact they will still be distracted, each to their own I guess they will get the points or worse one day
for a livestream, you could just read a few super chats on your breaks or while you're waiting for food
Loving the new angles and the content.
Yes yes yes
For live streams, you may be able to attach a secondary phone to your forearm like IRL streamers do, just for chat. Reply when you're walking to and from or waiting for orders only. If you need to worry about privacy or dc's then you can switch to a privacy mode scene temporarily, set it up to play short clips whilst we wait did you to return. Far more logistics, and things to solve I imagine but just throwing theoretical ideas lol.
I love your videos so much that I dont even skip the ad part haha
I love your videos but that comment about drivers on their phones is irresponsible and something I don’t agree with. No one should be using their phones when driving in any form. If you can’t leave it alone for the duration of your journey, you have an addiction to it. A friend of mine was killed by a driver using their phone not looking at the road ahead. Whatever speed, please, please do not use your phone while driving peeps.
So you don't mind people messing about with their phones whilst driving eh. Well, wait until one of them drives across the white line and hits you head on. You won't be feeling so generous then!
Hands free use while driving is legal in the UK, but touching a phone is not.
No I don’t care and that’s my personal opinion just like everyone else’s is entitled to, not saying it’s not dangerous I’m simply stating my opinion.
@@LondonEats It's illegal dude and imo you should care, even more so if you're broadcasting to the world. Anyway, you do you, and ride safe.
mate thats so good to see you get a sponsor, loved your content for ages
The reason you sometimes get long orders despite being in a busy area (and the same thing is hapening in Bucharest where I work and live), is that there are too many 3rd world bomalians in the respective area. The concept is simple, if there are 100 orders out there in the ether waiting to be picked up and there are 10 riders then they will all get 10 orders each and make good money - if instead theres 100 orders and 100 riders then each rider only gets one order each.
It is what it is.
I just like seeing where I used to live and work. Now I’m living in Canada so it’s great to reminisce 👍
Yes yes bro love your content keep the uploads coming have a good day mate
I hope Forest stay up next season, I hope Bournemouth ,Ipswich and Southampton get relegated, I hope Elliott Anderson enjoys his time at Forest as I'm a Newcastle United fan
Using your phone AND driving is stupid!
Your take is a really bad one!!
You need to stop your vehicle if you need to use your phone!
Do not drive and use your phone people!
Do not be traffic nobbheads!
Pull over, use phone, keep driving.
great video, I deliver myself and record videos occasionally but it is really time-consuming to edit it down to something watchable, so super impressed by how you do it. Often you'll have 2-4 hours of footage and you have to watch through it all to select the best bits, then edit to make it interesting. In your case you are pulling in footage from different cameras and adding in music and time lapses, can't imagine how much time it must take to cut it down to 20 minutes of engaging footage.
Try Nottingham, you won't get any lift problems. The delivery riders here don't know what the inside of one looks like.
If the content is good it is going to be enjoyable, even if it is a quiet shift or a busy shift. A fine line
Good episode, nice to see you back on the moped
Deliveroo is getting worse and worse for riders. The fees are despicably low. I was offered a job for £4.98 that used to pay at least £10, sometimes up to £12! The over saturation of riders means there is less orders and now they are not sending orders unless you are really close to the restaurant so essentially you have to be lucky to get an order. The so called base pay that GMB emailed about is a joke!
The over the shoulder angle was great!
oiiiii London!!! cameras looking sharper then ever.... good work man
Quality upload thanks for the content
Bro always making my day by those videos
Keep it real great content either way 🙏👍👍
You don't have to be at work when live streaming you could be at home or in a local park or street or in the bath ....
I had to switch to Uber eats because deliveroo won't take my money anymore, no lie, I guess even their main ordering app was buggy too
Mate we love your videos you are a legend mate and i feel for you whenever you don't make a good amount stay safe love you ❤
Bro, why do you wear a bally in the summer? The cool breeze on your neck is such a nice feeling 😋.
Shouldn’t be on your phone when driving anyway you can get 6 penalty points and a £200 fine.
Driving sound of the air, whoo whoo whooo oooh
Love the new camera angle bruv keep up the good work 👍
Is it legal to use the phone while driving in the UK?
The pick ups, the drop offs and the drum n bass😊😊😊
Hey man, been a while since I've commented KEEP KILLING IT BRO!!!
Banger ❤
Stay safe out there, mate a lot of crazy people out there
I can't think of anything worse than having a party on a bus 😂
feels like im watching a top class movie
Even in Brighton poppyes is very busy
Never ordering on Friday ever again ,seems like 95% of delivery peeps finish for weekend so it’s gonna take 90mins for order to arrive due to the only riders working end up waiting for second order .
You guys get really good daylight during the summer months, at 9:00pm it still looks like it could be 8:00pm
Out here in California 9:00pm (our time) is like 10:00pm (your time) out that way and 9:00pm (your time) is like 8:00pm (our time)
If I lived in that part of England I probably wouldn’t get any sleep until after midnight
nah i prefer that they are still while using the phone, but maybe im just stupid cuz the youtubers always are right
Nice video mate.
Quick question, what mobile phone are you using?
how are people working from home less productive? they still have tasks, and those tasks have deadlines
London Eats, your videos are getting better again. I like the way you are beefing people more 😂
Happy birthday mate! Should’ve been able to collect a birthday cake haha
About the live streaming you mentioned, is blurring people not gonna be an issue? Or even doxxing peoples location
No need for a live stream, I think what would be great is having an unedited full shift if possible but the videos now are great
Oh its kickin' off tonight man!
New sub
I love our work ethic dude
So interesting and great production and music
Big up the East Dulwich Massive!
Of all the videos iv watched the neu is my favourite.Love that bike!
Reason Thursday evening weekend moods starts. Sat and Sun weekend people want to enjoy their food and booze
Good to see you getting yourself off the sugar and caffeine finally!
Have you been busy during the Euros 24?
Your "hello" when at the door reminds me of Mr Bean lol!! Good video 🎉❤
love the 60FPS
You don't care when people drive on their unless it slows you down? What about if they hit someone??
hey bro, i like your content! i'm a new sub from the other side of the world, your vlogs show a fresh perspective of those who work in London! It's simple, straight to the point, and entertaining overall. I like the non-touristy, more residential vibe. Keep going man. Also if I may ask, what camera do you use?
Friday nights are gone.
It’s all about Saturday night. It’s the middle of the weekend.
Kicking the rubbish looked like something out of GTA 🤣🤣
11:43 you could use tts text to speech to have it reed the comments out to you and put your chat on slow mode to give you time to answer everyones wuestions
Great video
12:45 "but, maybe soon" - cuts to next order. Lol
not me who works for a fully remote company with a fully remote schedule. 💀
hopefully see you on the road again
Keep the sunday roast alive even if its delivered, Friday is a takeway night.
every time i’m eating food i have to watch these videos! my girlfriend hates it because i never watch films with her anymore because of you 😂
I have found down the years any system that organises and distributes work has drift. Modern systems with elements of AI seem to be worse.
Take care and hello be safe.❤😊🙏🙏👍❤
I don't know why, but watching your channel is so soothing to me when I'm having a hard time with my mental health. I love following your shifts, your commentary, and your camera work. I find it all very calming. I understand that I'm probably not your target audience with this, but thank you regardless.
I totally agree with you he is amazing when you have a bad time he just relax
This channel is super relaxing isn't it? The commentary, the ambient noise of the city, the music. It all comes together nicely.
