En Abril La Renga anuncio 3 shows en el estadio único de la plata y llenó los 3 sin ningún tipo de publicidad. Sólo anunciaron las fechas en Abril y tocaron a fin de mes. Se estiman unas 170.000 personas en los 3 shows.

Im from Argentina. Since dec2004 fires are no more allowed as in an indoor show from Callejeros, 194 people died, sadly. La Renga best rock band in Arg.

The problema was that the people carried flares in closed structures like the one who caused the death of 194 people. But there is the politics in this case, so it is better not to talk about it cause people is still shocked

hahaha crazy isn't it? to me it was the other way around, I was living for many years abroad, away from Argentina and I was surprised that concerts were so quiet in other countries, I was living many years between Scandinavia and Germany and rock and metal concerts there were kinda boring, I mean, I enjoyed those concerts and the bands, but the people are quiet, passionless, they don't have that sparkle we Argentinians have, this was the first band i became a fan of! i was 11 and I decided to make my first band at that age, influenced by them, Ac/Dc and Queen, and then started listening to more heavy stuff, til I turned a full time metalhead teenager! those holy years were glorious! I am glad you enjoy watching our concerts! greetings from the cold lands of Patagonia!
Good D, about your comments about the flares, in 2004 (or around those years) there was an incident at a concert with several deaths due to a flare fire, since that day bands like La Renga prohibited the entry of these products to their recitals, greetings

Wow! This was 2001. La Renga is my favorite band and that was the first time I saw them live. Today I'm 40 and I still go to their concerts. Thank you for reminding me all the emotions I felt that day!
someone has to say it. flares and fire are a thing down here. sadly yes, there have been casualties from this awesome but dangerous habit. the big incident, the one that kinda made the change was an indoors concert where the roofing caught on fire. 194 died due to respiratory complications and over 1300 got injured

Well, back in the day, flares were "allowed" at shows, the security just ignored the fact that people used them. Until a few years ago when there was a tragedy at a rock band show in a bar caused by a flare in which many ppl died and now the authorities have gotten serious about it. Both the authorities and the public have become aware of the issue and this is something that is now strictly not allowed. It's fun to see, but it's really dangerous. BUT we're still mad with or without flares lol

La renga es una de mis bandas favoritas, yo soy de argentina y fui a verlos al estadio de River plate, la primera ves que hicieron un estadio. No sé nada de inglés pero por lo que pude ver ed que te encantó la banda, es así? Es raro ver un vídeo de la renga con una bandera de Estados Unidos de fondo pero si SOS de allá es lógico, ojalá nosotros los argentinos hagamos lo mismo.

El primer estadio de la Renga fue ferro y Atlanta en las 90s ahí estuve. Después hizo Racing y huracán antes de tocar en River. Saludos. Aguante la renga

Sadly we had a nasty experience in Argentina where a place caught on fire during a music festival in a closed environment, over 400 dead people, a real tragedy that could have been avoided.

That show was amazing! The stage in the center of huracán Stadium. The best show of La Renga
