You are right, if I act very slowly I will get a more precise result. Mike Brubacher inventor of the edgeonup wrote to me in an email. I like to watch the display tick up 5 grams at a time
@@kaliberconsulting5884 I have too many stones, most of them I don't use. For a neatly sharpened work knife, I use the 100/200, 400/600, 800/1000, my old 1500 grit with an old 6 micron lapping film. And the ceremic 0.6 micron. Stropping 1 and 0.5 micron. This is enough to get a nice and sharp knife.
Love your videos!
Nice work 👍🏻
that was awesome i got 180 on my spiderco sharpmaker
Congratulations! You can now cut through the fabric of time. I bet you wouldn't even know if you cut yourself. Great video!
Wow! Talk about a mirror edge!
I just started a sharpening service. I'm knocking out kitchen knives in under 5 minutes on my wicked edge. I'm taking them to 1000 grit.
should have done some tests at different stages of sharpening. i wouldnt be surprised if it got to that 170 range long before you stopped.
Weer een stukje vakwerk 👍
If I wanted to read I'd just get the manual
Depending on the model of Edge On Up you have, testing deliberately fast like that can trick the machine into registering a low score.
