I think early questions should probably be a little bit easier and more multiple choice but with at least one answer that is most likely wrong. Like the All time receiving yards list was so hard because you picked 4 guys within 500 yards of each other. Maybe make 2 boards at the same time so that you always have one ready regardless of who you grab for it too.
I feel like the early questions like K and 1 on the actual show are usually super common knowledge, like “what shape has 3 sides”. Should be easier questions at the bottom

I think in some sense "Are You Smarter than Gut" is kinda like "Who Wants to Be a Millionare." Lifelines, progressive rounds, only differemce is progressive prizes

Sanders is a truly forgotten “What If”, he was incredible when he was on the field, the only issue is he was just constantly injured and could never stay on it. Always wondered how many DPOY’s he would’ve gotten had he stayed healthy
Add another power up to eliminate 2 wrong answers. I’d also give a 2nd eat one, peek, or copy if making the answers aren’t easier. Maybe make the questions easier by refining it to an era? Or maybe even give 2 minutes of study time after the era is given before the board is revealed.
This one’s early questions were too hard. You really have to ease them into the 3rd grade
I love this game. I honestly think if you want to make it easier turn the “Eat one” into the regular 3 strike system. That way if they wana go to another question/keep guessing they can.

I think how you make it better is you get 3 strikes, if Gut gets it right and the contestant gets it wrong you get 2 strikes, but if both are wrong it’s just a strike or something like that.
Could still do peak, phone a friend and maybe a hint or 50/50 if you want to do all multiple choice or something like that

Make one of the squares be almost like a daily double from Jeopardy except the question doesn’t count against them if they get it wrong but if they get it right they get an extra power up

Yeah I think you need to work on the difficulty curve on the questions. Maybe not this far but making the kindergarten questions like “what position does Justin Herbert play” - at least at a level where it should be easily get-able and work your way up from there.
I actually think that the difficulty of the questions was good, I got most of them but they were challenging for sure. I think you have a good difficulty level right now but maybe a tad less cause Nick has no memory. I also think phone a friend can just be something new because it isn’t reliable. Other than that I love it

Until 4th and 5th grade there needs to be true and false questions and multiple choice questions to make it easier. And Matt should be a lifeline.
IMO you should add 1 more lifeline and also just, for posterity, track answers from both to see who was right more at the end
Sharpe's 18TD year he only had like 1100 yds. His best was like 1450 with 13 tds. Nelson had a 1550 year with 13 and 1250 with 15. Nelson wins by a nose.
Honestly I thought the 5th grade DPOY question was the easiest. Some of the lower levels are so specific
I think the questions are good but maybe needs a steeper curve so start earlier end up maybe at the same hard level, it's tough tho to make good questions that are interesting for the easy questions and not just freebies to fill time.

I finished watching the who wants to be a millionaire with tony and 8:40 was so fucking funny knowing what happens.
1st grade needs to be like BASIC NFL/sports questions. Like ones anyone who tunes into the nfl a little bit could get. 2nd should be someone who knows a decent amount of ball. 3rd is someone who watches sports throughout the year. 4th is a diehard fan. 5th should be a diehard who goes back and watches highlights of older games and reads about stats from like 70s or 80s on. Thats how hard or easy the questions should be. Like write up a question and figure out "which type of fan could answer this." 1st grade in the grade show are THE easiest to answer questions ever

For the phone call lifeline they should be able to call anyone., or just replace it with a lifeline that will be more useful.

The structure of this game is AMAZING… but the questions are GARBAGE!! do better jaymo!!! Make it ONCE so they can get to 4th/5th with most of the lifelines
