This video was made at a very low time in Brian’s life. He was very depressed because there was a lot of negative press about him in regards to the breakup of his marriage and his relationship with his current wife. Being outside all day filming was really good for him. When Freddie looks at him and sings, “your smile speaks book to me” is just such a sweet gesture and you can see it meant something to Brian.

Love the song, the video, love the line your smile speaks books to me. And yes Freddie gave great interviews. He was always a joy to listen to. Soon as I heard you say you enjoy his interviews I subbed.

Awe! Thank you! You get me! He was amazing in his interviews. Especially, when he was smiling and being silly. I can't help but smile when I watch him. Such a bright shining light in people's lives even long after he's passed. Our two youngest children also love him and his music. 🤘🏻🎶🖤

Freddie's voice is unmatched, nowadays singers use commonly an auto tune during the concerts.
Did you know that even scientific study confirms Freddie Mercury had an unparalleled singing voice. That what makes his voice so special was extremely fast vibrato 7.04 Hz and subharmonics. He was able to create several more layers of harmonics than anyone else. Freddie was using a subharmonics by vibrating his ventricular folds, a technique usually found only in Tuvan throat singers. One of the conclusions from the studies was that "Mercury was vibrating something in his throat that even Pavarotti couldn't move and that kind of creates a very typical vocal fingerprint"

Freddie recorded the opera album BARCELONA with famous Spanish soprano Montserrat Caballe
Check out Freddie's solo Exercises in free love, his voice will blow your mind. It was his impersonation of Montserrat"s vocal style.

I love the video, too. This song was written by Roger and Freddie though by this time all music was credited to all band members. The train is so cool and the fact that they are actually on a moving train is so much fun. Brian looks like a total rock star with his hair blowing in the wind and Roger wearing the conductor's hat is perfect since the drummer really is the conductor for the band. The suggestion was made to do this on a train and Queen was actually able to find a train that they could paint with a big Q and the name Miracle Express (This is on the album The Miracle, I believe) and an area of track they could film on so it was a go. Excellent song and Freddie's voice is so powerful and beautiful. There is a very cool video of them making this video, you should check it out if you ever have time. Thank you for your reactions.

The girl in the video is Debbie Lang, Roger Taylor's girlfriend at that time, now she is his ex wife! From this marriage they had 3 kids, one of them became also a drummer and touring with his dad with present Queen shows!

Roger and Debbie never actually got married, although they had three children together. His first marriage was to Dominique Beyrand, resulting in 2 children. Then he was in the relationship with Debbie, who bore the other 3 kids. They broke up while she was pregnant with #3. Nowadays, Roger is married to his *official* second wife, Sarina Potgieter.

Thanks, guys! what a great song & video... first time I saw it I was nervous about how there seem to be no "safety harnesses" -- I'm sure they're not going as fast as it appears... but still! lol appreciate your reaction...

When he asked if you had anything to say, you should have said. Not really, because you never listen, but if you did, that would really be a breakthu 😂
