Calling this dance/rave is doing the prodigy a huge disservice. Everything on that album from start to finish transcended dance as a genre. Each song is 3 genres in one. Something many people thought was impossible before Fat of the Land released.

I'm Keith's age and have seen them loads, in the early days when raves were fucking mental. I hope I make it through this life as I struggle to. They did the closing set and all I remember is the power of the sound and the incredible laser show. Amazing stuff. Michael Jackson died the same weekend and everyone thought it must be a hoaxe. Bruce Springsteen also played this year. It was very hot and dry. Extremely memorable.
