This is a great live video of Slim from around 2005-06, when he had not yet won his first Blues Music Award. The band is the "first generation" of The Workers. Michael and Ike left over the years, Cliff still held down bass last time I talked to him. Slim is "the real deal". He used to literally climb out of that Mack Truck and grab his guitar and climb on stage to do a set when he lived here. Slim and the band worked hard to earn the reputation they have.
