I think Gumball is one of the most imaginative, crazy and fun cartoons airing this decade, and anyone who thinks I'm stupid for saying that is too cynical for me to take with any sort of merit. Although if you have legitimate reasons for disliking it, I'm totally on board to hearing you out.
I just don't like how they yell just about every sentence they say.

It is really a shame that a show I adore has developed a toxic fan base. However I have found that allot of Steven Universe fans have also felt the same way. It makes me disappointed that people would drive someone who just drew something to share their love for a series to suicide. It is especially bad because lots of media platforms have called the fan base toxic, when its only really a small group of people. To all you Steven Universe fans like myself, who just wish the fan base was kinder and not as looked down upon I wish you the best, and I hope that we can grow and enjoy the cartoon network show that is amazing.

I will always love Steven Universe as its a show that inspires me deeply. Even if the fanbase can be a mix of the loveliest people that you meet to the most toxic people that you will ever meet! Doesn't help with the hate that the show will get and people hating it for dumb reasons. It scares me because if I ever made a show for the network or some other channel I would be scare how big the fandom would get. But still I will hope one day for my own webcomic series Angel in Miracle world to one day become a animated series as its my biggest dream in life to work in the animation industry!~
Knowing there's still one more to go.. being the honorable mentions. I'm guessing he'll probably talk about the two "original" mini-series that came in this decade. Both being "Over the Garden Wall" and "Long Live the Royals". Just guessing, but it would feel right knowing they we're both mini-series that we're experimenting this type of format again at the height of the channel's return to glory. The former being successful, while the latter didn't catch on to many.
KnuckleDude24 I agree on Over The Garden Wall, but what about The Powerpuff Girls Movie? It was CN's first full length movie and their only theatrical released film excluding Regular Show: The Movie.
You know, thinking about it.. you do have a really good point. It had a bigger impression for being their first theatrical film (and only) from the studio. That, and this has more familiarity and info going onto this than Long Live the Royals would.

As much as I like SU. It's kind of hard to bring it up to anyone, without mentioning the toxic elephant in the room. The elephant being the toxic fanbase.
While it is true that much like Ying and Yang, for every bad fan there's always some good fans.
But sometimes I just that I wish that these people would get their shit together and just enjoy the show without making a fit over a drawing

I want to say that I live in Kenya and all those cartoons still air regularly.
I know this is unrelated to the video but I just want to talk about how much variety there is on Cartoon Network on Demand i mean Baby Looney Tunes, Mike, Lu and Og, Out of Jimmy's Head, Ed,Edd n Eddy all those shows and more are on it.
When it boils down to it, thanks to th internet, streaming services, and DVR, Cartoon Network will NEVER be the same again. Those three factors changed TV as a whole

Yeah, Miguzi replaced Toonami on Weekday Afternoons. But Toonami was still on Saturdays until 2008. Got canceled and then came back. Maybe Mizugi can also come back in the form of Adult Swim Jr. Or if that's a joke then still bring back Miguzi.

No, There is a promo for it. Saying it's coming in spring 2018. Some people saying it's real while others saying it's a joke. Regardless of either. CN needs shows aimed at teens/young adults.
The Amazing World of Gumball is #4 on my list of favorite animated television series. This is specifically because of Season 1 of the show. I was on the verge of starting college when this project first premiered, and I still thought it was perfect; real child actors, willing to use multiple types of animation yet still keeping 2D as its main style, stories that are perfect for children, almost nothing felt like a flaw. I was in love with the show ever since the very first episode. The one thing keeping it away from my top three animated series with Foster's, Chowder and Flapjack is Seasons 2-6. Yes, they still sent out a couple of good episodes, but there were also times when the show delved into too much cruelty, making it feel like a drastic change from Season 1. Still, Season 1 is still perfect enough to put Gumball on my favorites list.
But if I must talk about the other shows on this lookback, I might as well admit I like Steven Universe as well. Yes, Steven's actor Zack Callison was way too close to growing up when the show began, but hey, I accept Sean Marquette as the voice of Mac, so what makes Zack Callison any different as the voice of Steven? I also liked the level of compassion the Crystal Gems showed for Steven, no doubt due to the loss of his mother (makes me think of Littlefoot from the Land Before Time). It may have taken some time to get to know the other voice actors, but once I knew them, I came to like them. Clarence is okay, but I just wish they had made Jeff the star of the show instead of Clarence. Not only is he the one with the child voice, but the truth is, I actually identify with him, his common sense, his desire for perfection, I cannot help liking Jeff more. Clarence himself is just too goofy for my tastes. As for the projects of Pete Browngdart, I just don't care. Secret Mountain Fort Awesome was atrocious, and although there were times when I tolerated and sometimes liked Uncle Grandpa, most of the time I was either bored or disturbed.
So who are worse? The insane SU fans or the insane R&M fans?

R&M toxics are egotistical "smart" people who seriously think watching the show makes them *SMUHRTER*
Teen Titans fans toxic? Nah. I’d be miffed too if a good show were reduced to juvenile garbage like Teen Titans Go, then stretched out way past its expiration date. Even the artists and writers for TTG know it’s time to end the show.

After watching this part of the retrospective of Cartoon Network, I may actually give these shows a chance and watch them, because sadly I didn't connect with these shows unlike Fosters Home, Dexter's Lab, KND etc. I still watched shows like Star Wars The Clone Wars, and Pokemon and especially Samurai Jack's final season on the Adult Swim Block but that would be it for me as of now, Pokemon being the final show I would watch during CN's airtime before Disney got the rights to air the dubbed season on its XD Channel.

Modern CN is something. It's both good and bad. Gumball, SU, OK KO, and Craig of the Creek are really good.
