Walt's Worm Jig

Eigentlich ist die Walt’s Worm Jignymphe eine „einfache“ Hasenohrnymphe, die als Jig gebunden wird. Aber sie ist unglaublich effektiv. Die Nymphe hat dieses raue, diffuse Aussehen, dass Forellen kaum widerstehen können und dieses Muster kann alles imitieren, von der Larve einer Eintagsfliege, bis zur Puppe einer Köcherfliege. Der orangene Beißpunkt direkt hinter der Perle ist ein weiterer Anziehungspunkt.
Aufgrund des Jighakens fischt sich dieses Muster Upside-Down und kann sehr nah am Grund angeboten werden.
Dieses Muster kann man in einem normalen Setup fürs Nymphenfischen einsetzen, aber gerne auch in einer Montage mit zwei Nymphen und beim sog. Euronymphing. Simpel, effektiv, gut!
The Walt's Worm Jignymph is actually a "simple" hare's ear nymph that is tied as a jig. But it is incredibly effective. The nymph has this rough, diffuse appearance that trout can hardly resist and this pattern can imitate anything from the larva of a mayfly to the pupa of a caddis fly. The orange trigger behind the bead is another point of attraction.
Due to the jig hook, this pattern fishes upside-down and can be offered very close to the bottom.
This pattern can be used in a normal setup for nymph fishing, but can also be used in a rig with two nymphs and for so-called Euronymphing. Simple, effective, good!
