Oh, to me, the 2 of swords shows a sword for destruction and a trowel to represent building or construction... so we are ready for either destruction or construction. A trowel could be for construction of a garden or for placing the mortar which binds brickwork when constructing a house.
Super-interesting deck with a great deal of judeo-christian symbolism, very cool! I studied this period of renaissance christianity, and it's nice to tie the tarot back to that kind of tradition (i tend to think of the tarot as more Victorian, historically).
The images with the keywords make this look like an easy reader, that can be picked up and read accurately without extensive study. Wasn't expecting that as I usually want more imagery.
I genuinely like this deck. I wasn't sure when I picked it up since it is quite a change from my usual aesthetic. But it is such a smart and insightful deck.
