You wake up at an abandoned train station in Krat, a city overwhelmed by madness and bloodlust. In front of you lies a single note that reads:
"Find Mr. Geppetto. He's here in the city."
Play as Pinocchio, a puppet mechanoid, and fight through everything in your path to find this mystery person. But don't expect any help along the way and don't make the mistake of trusting anyone.
You must always lie to others if you hope to become human.
Inspired by the familiar story of Pinocchio, Lies of P is an action souls-like game set in a cruel, dark Belle Époque world. All of humanity is lost in a once beautiful city that has now become a living hell filled with unspeakable horrors. The city of Krat was insipired by the Belle Époque Era in Europe (late 19th Century to the early 20th Century) and is the epitome of a collapsed city bereft of prosperity.
Experience interconnected procedural quests that play out depending on how you lie. These choices will then affect how the story ends.
You can combine weapons in a multitude of ways to create something new altogether. Research to find the best combinations and make something truly special.
With Pinocchio being a doll, you can change parts of his body to gain new skills and hopefully an edge in battle. But not all of the enhancements are for fighting though, they can also provide several other unique and useful features.

24:50 She literally did, and also explained that it was sealed from the other side, the only way for it to be opened is if an Alchemist did so from their base. Which they did, to attack it, meaning you can now use that passage. She's even the person who told you to go to Krat Central Station because there are Alchemists near the old collapsed workshop tower you could try to ask to open it for you.

@FightinCowboy the 'when pulse cells are discharged' means when you have no healing left the pulse cells are in 'discharged' state
I beat the Currupted Parade Master during my first attempt. My strategy was to keep my distance until he ran and dove on the floor. He will crawl and strick the ground 3 times. After this you have a widow to hit him as many times as possible. Get back once he gets back up again and repeat the process until dead. 😊

When discharged is when your pulse cells are used up and you're waiting for your refill, the auto charge pulse cells on discharge was kinda handy for me in the later fights

@ombtez2877 2 dragons is insane. You have to get used to the way it moves or gravity will murder you. The charged r2 will parry if the timing is right, so it's nice for staying up in the enemies face. Speed, damage, and stagger are all really high, especially after the patch.
Hell ya. Dancers blade and 2 dragons carried me, just finished firstplay through.
Idk why but this boss for me took more tries than any other one until this point. I thought to myself "he's not even that hard" as i died to him repeatedly time and time again. I managed to down the King of Puppets in like ten attempts but got stuck on this guy for 50+.
I literally just beat him and the same thing happened to me, his move set and reach are not clear to me

Same for me, but I can clearly identify the cause as being a lack of summon pool before the boss room 🙊
Aren't infected resistant to acid?
Kinda. Acid causes damage over time and they’re resistant to it, but it’s BIG BENEFIT is that it can BREAK ENEMY WEAPONS (also the explosion on the acid arm is decent damage if you can manage it)

Flamberge + acid spear absolutely shredded this boss (and the previous one) for me. I'm not sure why cowboy decided to drop fire completely towards the end of the game, right when most enemies are carcass type and very weak to it 😅
In any case I found that a combo of different elements with weapon and legion arm works the best here. So either acid weapon and fire legion arm, or viceversa.
I think he likes the fire legion arm, it's just that when you use it you can be a sitting duck. You have to be kind of close even with the extended distance added.
He seems to ignore elemental triangle advantage...

I feel really stuck... Can't use the stargazer and i have some weapons but only a few things are 8 and 4 or 6...i have the arms but only the fire arm upgraded completely and the others are here and there upgrades...😢i don't think I'm going to beat this guy again... Tried everything in my bag. Running out of throwing items...i kind of feel discouraged. The not being able to use the gazers really suck
Hi! Idk if you’re still stuck but i beat him by playing chicken. I kept my distance and baited out his rush attack. When he started running to me, i ran at him and would dodge under his swings to get behind him. Take two hits max and back away to do it again. When his attacks changed up and he started doing the attack where he throws himself to the ground i would wait the 4 hits and pelt him with my fire arm. It was frustrating and it took a lot of calming myself down to do it. I won with no healing items and i was shaking a lot.
The puppet master was easy the first time and the second time, all you need to do is get close and dodge when he swings down at you. Just this time don’t get close when he falls down. First try with no throwables
If you are a tech build the 2 dragons sword absolutely destroys this guy his little skip/charge is really easy to time the R2 parry which stuns him momentarily also bait his guardian ape impression attack where he jumps and flails around on the ground

I love this game I just got through NG+++ and watching this makes me want to start NG++++ I don't want to ruin anything for people who want to do this but there is new stuff in the NG plus playthroughs not like new bosses or anything I'll say that but just kinda new items but actual new P orgins there is one where it makes the game literally easy mode but you have to playthrough NG++ to get it
@mitchh5596 no sadly you still have to playthrough some of the game to upgrade the P orgin. It pretty much makes every gaurd perfect gaurd meaning you can't normal block anymore it's just all perfect guard at least I think that's what it means I haven't unlocked it
Hope Cowboy finds out about using a cipher to find a SECRET AREA👀 (you give ciphers to fancy guy and you examine the pics he gives you for secret loot)

Corrupted Puppet Master: Defeated! YAAAY Whelp, The pizza cutter seemed to work a lot better this time. I just hit him and sidestepped. Then I tossed the Pandemonium I used the heavy attack when he had his back turned. I got Em.

A lot of animals can get bruises too, it was the "only on man" that clues you in

acid is definitely the OP build style i have +10 on the spear and using pandemonium but the only thing im kinda confused about is that its supposed to lower weapon damage.. and im not sure if i see any evidence of it doing that
I thought it lowered weapon durability not damage.
@@ghostoffantom well effectively weapon durability IS damage :) isnt it ..
@@sensemusicofficial not really. Enemies deal less damage when their weapon is fully broken. As far as i understand their damage is not reduced until you fully break their weapon.
@@ghostoffantom but we do less damage as the weapon degrades? .. which is why we grind it .. to regain full damage.. test it out on the dummies in the court yard.. you do less damage .. as your weapon loses durability .. so i would have assumed its the same for the enemies
@@sensemusicofficial it's hard to tell how exactly the mechanics work without extensive testing. There is a perk that you can get that boosts your damage when your durability is at max and your damage seems to fluctuate by about 15% from hit to hit so it's not 100% consistent, which makes testing kinda problematic. I don't know if enemies follow the same damage rules as the player.

Just beat him on my 3rd attempt. Such a divisive concept to hamstring you here. Not sure I like it. Feels unfair on users who have developed a strategy. Luckily the boss is pretty easy to take down with fire. My advice is to stay away from him and don’t get close so he jumps at you. Roll into these attacks and he’ll always miss.
Man, Armored core at some point would be nice. 30+ uploads now
The end game bosses are the worst I've seen in any Souls or Souls-like game. After King of Puppets good luck 👍🖕
