So in my little world I happened across an Iranian immigrant who had become an American. Gotten citizenship. He was proud to be here. I really respected that. Anyway, the first thing I believe I asked him about bc I'm just very curious; was about the anti-American bias he must have had to break through. His answer shocked me. He said that it's a lie, at least around wherever he grew up. He said the people really thought no less about the American people than they would anybody from any country. He said there isn't an anti-American sentiment among regular people. His message was basically some aren't fans of our government but are smart enough to separate it from the citizenry. You might say maybe he was lying. I don't know why he would though.
