- "What kind of Fool Am I" was made famous by the great Sammy Davis Jr. The song was written by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley who also introduced it in the musical " Stop the World -- I Want To Get Off." During the 1972 TV series "Engelbert and The Young Generation" filmed for Brittish and German Stations I performed the song. I hope that you enjoy my rendition
