  • This is how you make an Alien Hovercraft!
This is a science experiment from my book Stay Curious and Keep Exploring and is great for kids ages 5-12.
    Materials
    Book: amzn.to/41waqKp
    DVD: amzn.to/3Moky3K
    Bottle cap: amzn.to/3OaglCa
    Hot glue: amzn.to/3pE0MrY
    Balloon: amzn.to/41AQyGb
    Instructions
    (1) Use your hot glue gun to glue the plastic cap to center of your DVD (glue around the perimeter of the bottom of the plastic cap). Let that dry for 1 min.
    (2) Make sure your cap is in the closed position. Blow up your balloon (don't tie it off!) and carefully place it over the opening of your cap.
    (3) Twist the cap to the open position and push your hovercraft over a smooth surface.Your hovercraft should be able to glide at least a few feet! Once the balloon deflates, just take it off, blow it up again and repeat the process.
    Safety
Glue guns can get hot! Use with caution (This is something an adult should do.)

My daughters loved the experiment, here is how it works in their words (4 & 7 yr old). “Put air into the ballon, then it makes it go high, not to high just a little so when you push it it slides, it’s like flying”
Also they’d love to be able to show you photos/videos of their experiments as you mentioned, how would we contact you with a photo/video of it?

In Germany homeschooling is illegal because of the reasoning that they provide as opposed to the contrary reasoning that the U.S. provide.

My 6yo son loves your Netflix show. He keeps asking when can he visit your lab and how it’s not fair you’re not on tv anymore 🥰💔
