Same here. My LCS didn't even have any yet. Strange how there is none to be found across the country yet. I ordered some off Target's website. Have three boxes coming this week but I want to buy a hobby from my LCS

Yeah idk how accurate those odds are. I opened 2 of these and got a CJ Cron(👎) to /275 and a scrub rookie auto. Best card was an Adley xfractor.
Good stuff man. Here's something interesting that's related to your value tracker. I pulled a shohei negative out of a 30 dollar value box last week. I was pretty happy about it.
I would think Pink & Sepia refractors in blasters would cancel out Xfractors in monster boxes, so blasters are still best bang for $$.
X-Fractors are worth quite a bit more than sepias and pinks
You're right. Was trying to see some balance between the two but there's the Xfractor difference.

Retail will always be the better buy especially with the addition of the MVP Buyback cards, which alone can pay for the box at a low price. The problem I see is that the secondary prices can get to hobby prices quickly.
For 23 Chrome I agree 100%. I just finished a case of blasters. If Acuna/Ohtani holds up, 460.00 in buybacks, 6 autos, 13 colored/#'s, Aaron Judge image variation SP, 2 Untra Violet SP inserts, 80 pinks, 80 sepia, base and inserts etc. I am loving it.
Amazing run! Love the transparency, always keeping it real. This is not the norm, but remember kids, the odds are based on the entire print run. Any given day, box, pack etc you can pull anything! Keep on ripping ✌🏽⚾️🇺🇲
Are you saying there's no real difference between a Hanger box or a monster box from Walmart
@@dakota1575 Yes a difference, but if you buy on a small level let's say 1 box, the odds are different. I compare it to lottery tickets. The back of an instant scratch off ticket will sometimes say odds of winning 1 in 4. However you can buy 10 off the roll and not win anything. Same with cards, you can buy a box and do great just like 1 lottery ticket. Those stated odds are over the whole entire print run. And we have seen many early review videos tell us that the better play is in another product, yet until larger scale sample size is seen like case breaks, I stay on the cautious side for most new releases. Topps always has us in a zigzag position. Once we thing blasters are it, they load up hangers. They are not keeping the same theme as last year, however the only constant thing Fanatics has done since taking over is increase print run on every release by introducing new parallels. No products are trimmed down, none are cheaper. Just have to play along if you want to be a collector these days. Try to have fun and all usually plays out ok.

I bought one monster box. They had 3 and I did that thing where you pick each box up contemplating which one to buy. The notable cards were Corbin Carroll, Gunner Henderson, Corbin Carroll X-Fractor and a Oswald Cabrera Purple Sonic

Last year I was opening Megas for $45 on eBay and was making my money back because of the MVP Buy Back. I was hitting parallel MVPs like crazy! Great video! I appreciate the breakdown as always.
Bought one last night and pulled an Oscar Colas auto /99, Jung base and XFractor, Alvarez X Fractor, and a Bobby Witt X-Fractor. More than paid for the box and the Chrome Platinum blaster I bought. Would definitely get another one.

Boom!! Crazy you got better autos out of the worst format by odds vs an entire case of junbos with 24 autos guaranteed!! The xfractors are the icing on the cake too. I only opened 1 and got riley greene, Corbin carroll, and Volpe xfractors out of the same box! Really dig the xfractors
I can't even find any Megas and I won't pay resale so guess I'll stick with blasters. I pulled a Casas image variation and a Harris Prism and 28 total refractors out of 4 blasters. Thank you Stryker for sharing your pulls. Seems to me Walker, Alvarez, and Carroll are the tougher to pull rookies in this.

Great Video, but I think the most valuable unnumbered refractors would be the negative refractors. Seems like they go for the most.
Awesome rip I was waiting for this video! I missed out on the monster boxes unfortunately. The QC in hobby boxes was good but my blaster boxes have been rough. Lots of surface issues. I did get an Ezequiel Tovar Purple Speckle auto /299 in a blaster I grabbed 2 from Target and got a colored auto,Yordan green /99,a blue Sonar /125 plus an Ohtani base and an Acuna refractor! Unbelievable! Blasters from Topps had better qc coincidentally
Nice Strider purple. I have yet to see Chrome in my area. I am hearing from lots of people around the country that it's not hitting the stores or something fishy is going on. I finally broke down and ordered some from Target.

Awesome opening ..I would just take 20$ off the price of the box to get the value bc not every box is gonna give you a good rookie , Acuna , shohei , xfractor but probaly every other one will

Pulled 1 green rookie auto in my first box.

And a ton of other Rookie X’s/Prisims
On of my favorite things to collect in Topps Now is if they make one for a game that I went too. I went to the Braves Pirates series in Pittsburgh a week ago and there was 2 Matt Olson cards made, so that is fun. I usually redeem points, you can get 6 free cards with points and often hit a parallel.
Cant wait for mine now. They're going to arrive tomorrow. Hope i have luck like you do

I ordered 2 boxes from Fanatics on release day, was (My first ever Fanatics order) they still haven't shipped and the estimated delivery date is 3 weeks. So this is will likely be my Last fanatics order. That's Ridiculous shipping speed. They Look great though, thanks Stryker my man.

I’ve checked multiple days a week, at 7 am and after noon at my local Walmart and I am finding plenty of Bowman and even 2022 stadium club chrome, but not a single format of 2023 Topps Chrome retail. It’s crazy.
Fanatics sold out. Hopefully they have more and offer them up again. I regret ordering only two of these last week.

Didn't know that these were even available yet. I love them x fractors. Sold an Ohtani Vlad Jr and Tatis Jr rookie xfractors for a grand a few years ago. I wish I held onto the Ohtani.

Me and my buddy each got a box from our LCS, I got a Carroll xfractor and refractor, Acuna xfractor, mookie xfractor, baty xfractor plus Senga and Alvarez for my PC and an auto. My buddy pulled some rookie /350. 🤷🏻♂️ I’m debating to go get a couple more monster boxes, any thoughts?

Every time Stryker hits on a product it triggers a run on the item. 2023 Topps Series 2 Hangers and Fat Packs went crazy after Stryker’s video is released. Brett from Step Into The Box has the same effect (2022 Bowman Fat Packs - Security Tags). I fully expect everybody to be hunting for 2023 Topps Chrome Monster Boxes after this. Hahaha! I don't have a set criteria, but it's a combo of quality, raw price vs psa 10 price vs psa 9 price minus grading fees and business cash flow considerations.
