I came from Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture to Maizuru City, Kyoto Prefecture.
This time I took a walk from the port of Higashi Maizuru to Nishi Maizuru and returned by train to my hotel in Higashi Maizuru.
Maizuru is a laid-back, quiet port town.
The morning was beautiful with deep fog.
It is known as a military port, and you can see the warships of the Maritime Self-Defense Force up close.
I recommend stopping at the Gorodake Sky Tower on the way there, as you can see a nice view without climbing it.
But it was difficult to go there on foot because of the high temperature, so I think it would be better to take a cab.
福井県鯖江市から京都府舞鶴市にやってきました。
今回は東舞鶴の港から西舞鶴まで散歩して電車で東舞鶴のホテルまで戻りました。
舞鶴はのんびりした静かな港町です。
朝は深い霧がかかっていて綺麗でした。
軍港として知られており、海上自衛隊の軍艦を間近で見ることができますね。
途中立ち寄った五老岳スカイタワーは登らなくても、良い景色が見られるのでおすすめです。
でも気温が高く歩きで行くのは大変だったのでタクシーで行くのがいいかと思います。
