A great job as you always do and good to see a V6 getting some cleaning. Here in the UK we love our dyson V6 - still tonnes knocking around!

Great video on how to take apart these machines. I like the Dyson cordless for quick cleaning but they definitely don’t last. But at least they have a refurbished/ discount site where you can easily find these for under $200.
Really enjoy watching your channel, and the info of how these cleaners work.

I had the counterpart to this model, the DC59 and it performed OK at first. IMHO the washable filter in these models is deceitful as it looks clean when you wash them but as you show, the dirty air passes from the inside out and conceals/traps a whole bunch of hair and gunk in the process. These types are probably best for quick pickups but not as a daily driver.

I would love to know how much dirt and sand and Grit is left in a person's carpet that owns one of these and think that they're getting their carpets deep down clean with this type of kids toy. That's pretty much what these type of things are is just a kid's toy all they're good for is just like a quick clean if you spilled popcorn or chips or something like that on the carpet. As somebody who sold carpeting there is no way you're going to get your carpets clean with this thing are any other type of a stick vac. All they're designed to do once again is to do quick pickups you need to get a heavy-duty vacuum cleaner like a good powerful canister with a powerhead or a good upright

We have the V8. It was given to us. I also thought it was kaka until I used it. We use it exactly as you describe for spot cleaning. I am actually impressed how well it works and I am not a Dyson fan.
A couple years ago I sent my Miele upright to our esteemed host and made a video on the repair. It's still going great and we don't let the cleaning girls touch it since he fixed it. :)

@@scotts4125 I have a sebo upright. And I had a sibo canister D4 but I got rid of that cuz the power cord kept overheating and I had it replaced twice so I just got rid of that. But I do like my upright. And I do have a Shop-Vac with a battery powered weasel work nozzle on it and I use that when I need to clean underneath the beds and under the furniture and it works really well

This is one reason why I will never own a Dyson nor will I ever own another piece of s*** shark ever again. I can't believe people think that Bagless vacuum cleaners are the cat's ass.
