However, Pivot 5 has many new features like a zoomable canvas, bendy lines, inbetweening and virtual camera. Figures can be made that are much more complex. It means that your tutorial is already a bit out of date. I'd strongly recommend that you use v5 for part 2. Everything in part 1 is still valid in v5 so no need to redo it. And read the v5 user guide like no one ever does!
im sorry to hear that. I'll cover saving (and opening) animiations in part 2, but i might not be abel to find out you'r problem seeing as I've not been abal to recrate it for myself. Good luck

keyframes and adding sound in pivot when?
@@TruxySSJ key frames as in tweening? Pivot 5 has that now. Sound maybe in v6.
