    I liked the long version/real time of this. Love seeing the process... I think it helps to see the whole process sometimes, to actually see the nitty griity of trying to get the soil in the pot, the mess, etc :D Because when I'm at home making a mess, or having issues with an awkward plant, etc. and then you see these videos where it's all perfect, I wonder if I'm doing something wrong, right? Anyway, your plants and look and quality of your videos always look beautiful and very professional (even in the "mess"), great job to everyone involved, thanks! ;)

    Laura & Aaron, I do like the long version. I appreciate seeing the entire process. When I started the video I thought, "I'll probably just skip through the boring parts and get through this faster." But I just let it play and didn't skip a second. It's not like I'd want you to do every video like this, but from time to time, I think it's nice to kick back and watch you work. I also wanted to comment because you guys did so well both production-wise and talent-wise. My husband is in media production and I work with him on jobs quite often. Staying engaging in a 40 minute video with so few cuts is NOT EASY. I've seen a ton of 10 minute videos on youtube that are 8 1/2 minutes too long. You both did a great job making the 40 minutes worth it.

  • @user-grannyb
    @user-grannyb Před 7 lety +1

    I loved the video!! So helpful to see how you didn't baby the plants. I'm always afraid of killing them in the process of planting / replanting. The trim cuts were super helpful. I hate to throw any negative but I was totally excited to watch how much water you put in each container since water seems to be my biggest downfall. Maybe next time we can see that too? ;-)

    Thank you. I'm wary of long videos because I've found so many that are long, based solely on being long. There's no better way to turn someone off than to make a 40 minute video with 5 minutes of information. Your videos, however, are filled with substance. And, although I don't always have time for a longer video, when I do have time, I'll know your's will be worth the watch. : )

    Thanks for the video Laura! Please do more long videos, as I find it extremely helpful seeing the process the start to finish. Along with your tips and tricks, it is helpful just to see you handle the plants and banter on about facts that come to your mind as you go (as these are questions that pass across my own mind when I repotted my echeveria and haworthia last week). Will you be doing a seedling video later in the winter with your new grow lights? I recently purchased a couple to have a site set up for Feb/ March time. I am in a zone 5b (Ontario, Canada)so I find it easy to relate you! Once again, thank you for all your help and I look forward to seeing your next video!

That thing is dead by now for sure. Enjoy her personality, good speech, doesn't use the same wording over and over. Some video shows will do that and it's aggravating. Love the long videos. I learn a lot and your voice is relaxing. I find I return to different times on the video so I can catch up on something I spaced out on. Thank you and please do more videos like this. :)

    Thank you, great video. You made me smile when you were talking about how satisfying it was to clean up some of your succulents comparing it to dusting off a piano. I just got done cleaning up three pots of geraniums for a friend this morning....ahhhh so satisfying. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. You are awesome!

    I enjoyed seeing you in an environment as I have. I don’t have a space outside and must use kitchen counter if I want to plant. Love hearing you talk about the plants so matter of fact like. It has given me confidence to start making my own succulent planters and not be afraid of handling the plants. I am learning quite a bit from your videos and hope you continue. I get inspired from watching you.
