I've been just adding a couple ounces of Seafoam in my engines for storage and it's been working fine for the past 30 years or so. I never have dirty carbs on my motorcycles, snowblowers, lawnmowers or chainsaws since I started using it. It keeps all the fuels systems clean and is an excellent fuel stabilizer during long term storage and I always use 87 octane pump gas. I have never drain carbs or used the non-alcohol fuel during storage. I do shut off the fuel incase a needle valve sticks open, but that's the only thing I do. Works for me!
Hope this helps out at least one person avoid having carburetor issues in the future. Thank you for watching!
