I move around quite a bit and have spent most of my time in North Wales and Chester...both known for being lovely places, but I find myself missing Huddersfield the most despite the short time I lived there :( ..tons of memories .. such a nice song!!!

In 2 months or so i will be playing my first acoustic gig at Huddersfield Uni..Now as a local lad myself i will be singing this song and spreading the word of Roger Davis..Truly one of the uk's top talents
Studied in Huddersfield between 2011-2013 as a young international student; came back in 2023 for another visit with my wife at the year of 35. I was amazed by how much the town changed yet remained familiar over a decade. Time really flies but memories wouldn’t fade. Thank you Huddersfield and hope to see you in another decade.

My flatmate at University was from Huddersfield and introduced me to this song. He took me to Huddersfield and I saw Castle hill and other places in the song. Always loved this song. Today His football club Huddersfield Town play in the Championship Play off final. I hope they win and go to the Premier League just for him 😀

I saw Roger performing last night (28th February 2016) at The Lowry in Salford along side Fairport Convention. I was totally blown away by how good he is! I told him so after the gig and also confessed that I'd never heard of him before! Beautiful songs played and sung with honesty, expertise and a spotlight to the spirit. Check this guy out - he is amazing! I will definitely go to see him in concert again! Thank you so much Roger!

Aww man...your song and the video of Huddersfield are fantastic! I was only there once for a couple of days (spent in a conference at the Media Centre all day long!) and didn't get to see much of the city, but what I did see I enjoyed very much.

For the song? I've no idea, sorry. It was some sort of studio mic, for example, not something like like an SM58. It was an old fashioned looking thing. I don't know much about mics I'm afraid, I leave it to the 'producer' in the studio. Berst wishes, Roger.
