Every MLB player or manager should get a welcome to the world of those in the clubhouse before the game is over because of an ejection edible arrangement.
Home run antics by Derek Dietrich in the second inning led to the bench-clearing mayhem in the 4th. It wouldn't be the last bench-clearing fight between the Reds and Pirates in 2019, as near the trade deadline Amir Garrett instigated a 9th inning brawl with Pittsburgh ahead 11 to 3 after Garrett gave up a three-run shot
@@nickgresla234 4 or 5 missed calls behind the plate, isn't actually that big of deal. Current umpire accuracy is 94% and the average number of wrong calls a game is about 7.56
One thing I think that can be applied to life and Baseball (especially when umpires are hearing it from both sides) is that "if you come across one butthole every now and again, they might just be a butthole, but if everyone appears to be a butthole, then maybe you might be the butthole." The baseball equivalent is "if one person has an issue with your call, it's most likely just them. The fan touched the ball, but I don't think that can be interference because in order for the outfielder to make the catch, he would have had to reach above the wall. It should've been fair game for the fan to catch the ball, and make it a home run

Because it keeps the human element in the game. In the minor league they have it where there would still be a home plate umpire but would have an ear piece and someone would tell him if it’s a ball or strike based off of the virtual strike zone
because the technology isnt ready enough to come to the bigleagues. That box on tv you see doesnt change from batter to batter like it does in real life and they've had issues with the accuracy of the electronic zone in the league they are experimenting in

I noticed quite a few times the home plate umpire holding his hand up to the dugout in order to let the team know he's had enough. Has a team ever backed down and avoided an ejection in that situation? I highly doubt it.

These guys are playing for large money and you’re not the star. You’re the ump.
