  • I still cannot believe I didn't see the almost clear lane on the far left of the M25 Motorway, half way into the video. It shows how limited my little brain was and I was totally fixated on the right hand lanes. A typical 'can't see the wood for the trees' moment.

Splitting isn't legal where I ride, but I still do it where I can. Luckily, I don't have to deal with heavy traffic too often. Stay safe...

Luckily I don't have to do this on every ride. Just checked out a couple of your videos too. Nice!

Thanks for watching. I'm planning to take a vary scenic Arizona ride on Jan 1st and the camera will be rolling. Hopefully it will be a good video. Have a great Christmas!

Nice video. Tunnel vision can set in after a while of filtering, especially at night. Use of your hazard lights while filtering is probably not a good idea. See highway code rule 116.
    116
Hazard warning lights. These may be used when your vehicle is stationary, to warn that it is temporarily obstructing traffic. Never use them as an excuse for dangerous or illegal parking. You MUST NOT use hazard warning lights while driving or being towed unless you are on a motorway or unrestricted dual carriageway and you need to warn drivers behind you of a hazard or obstruction ahead. Only use them for long enough to ensure that your warning has been observed.

ffs dude. dont use your hazards whilst splitting. it doesnt make you any easier to see, and confuses the cagers.

goldenone1976 well I saw some other bikers do it so copied the idea. Doesn't it make you more visible I wonder.

Sky Rider if you're referring to the video I think you're referring to? that's not his hazards.. that's his abs warning light....

All it will do is piss off the cagers. If I saw you doing that while out on my bike it would piss me off as well. Hazards are for emergencies, not for routine filtering.

In the day I sometimes put my full beam on while splitting. It really helps cars to see me, though probably best not to do it at night so not to blind anyone...
