1. Public the names of owners of IPP owners
2. Any agreement between two countries that is designed in such a way that it does great injustice to one country or party can be taken to court for revision of such agreements or cancelling the agreement altogether. As long as matter stays subjudice payments won’t be made.
3. Government needs to think that they either want to put the whole country in a jeopardy and economic collapse by keep “honouring” the extremely unjustified and ridiculous agreements or should do the right thing by putting their foot down and demanding justice
4. A lot of these IPPs are government owned and making losses because of inefficiency of the government. There are no agreements with any other country there. What’s stopping the government to shut them down ?
5. The IPPs owned by local businessmen /politicians are totally renegotiable. So why not start from there

The issues in this debate are:
1. Should we terminate the IPP contracts or revisit them? It's important to note that the government is presenting the choices as either termination or no termination. Thus the government is misleading.
2. How do we handle the negative effects of bad contracts? The current government strategy seems to put all the burden on consumers while allowing those who have been benefiting from free energy to continue doing so. Affordability needs more attention in this discussion.
