He had no idea of this until she was born and Olivia told him about this. Roman also had no recollection of his true self whatsoever which is a vampire demon of sorts who has insatiable hunger for human blood. Once his true self became to emerge, he tries his best to feed by other ways and not kill people but his hunger wins. He does not want to be this Upir and tries to get rid of it. He has no idea how to nurture a kid and wants to do everything right by her. Unfortunately his traumatized upbringing and other unfortunate events lead to his demise and ends up killing someone in feud. He’s extremely apologetic however ends up dead by the end of the final season by someone close of the deceased.

No, I cried watching it and I cried watching this clip. I had to keep reminding myself they are still teen-agers, but have been a a lot more than most adults go through. They picked wonderful actors.
