Which one did you end up keeping? I preferred the Damier Ebene print. That dark brown interior looks so lux and durable. It a perfect scenario, keeping both would be ideal. It’s so hard to find one now. I would love to find either one in good condition to purchase.
I have this zippy compact wallet in the monogram. I love damier ebene but tend to prefer monogram for slg's. Good luck with your decision, they're both beautiful!!
+pedot4life I love the mono print more as well. I'm leaning toward just getting a mini pochette, that way I have another item in my collection. I have so many wallets now, lol. Thanks for commenting :)
I love this wallet! I just purchased it in the damier ebene- the SA had to call several stores to find one left. All of my other SLGs are mono, so I went with the DC, but the monogram looks lovely! Great review :)

Which print is your favorite print? I’m a mono girl myself but have three canvases. Frankly, I’d keep both, wallets like everything els tangible wears out. They don’t make the zippy wallets anymore. So I would have kept bothering , cheaper snd better than to keep than to buy later a wallet( like zippy ) that they don’t make anymore.
I agree that should keep the mono. Because this model is now retired, you will have to time the market properly to get your cash back minus any selling fees. Return the one directly from LV and use the money towards something else on your wish list.
Am I too late to weigh in? If not, keep the mono and trade your Ebene for another item like an Ebene pochette or mini pochette AND key cles'. Beautiful wallets and great video!!!
Just came across your channel. Very nice unboxing of both of these wallets. Which wallet did you end up keeping? You are so lucky to get the mono in great condition! I wish I would have bought the DE or Mono zippy compact wallet when they made the old style. By the time I decided on getting it, there were no more older styles :( Oh well...I guess I will have to try to find one in good condition on the preloved market.
+Amber Fowler Thanks! I kept the monogram wallet. I am a monogram kinda girl. Yeah, when I heard they getting rid of the old style, I had to search high and low. Ironically, I had 2 monograms at the time of this video and the DE one, lol. I returned the extra mono one and the DE in Florida while on work travel.

I would have kept the Damier Ebene. Depending on where you live monogram can be a little flashy! This is my second one, the epi leather one I bought in 2011 is stained and completely destroyed! I hope I can get one soon!

I say get the one you want. Just let him know the reviews you have seen show the Sarah wallet might not be the best for your needs. Maybe a zipper security is better than a button. I'm sure you can be creative. I would use function vs style. Men understand that more. Hope that helps. I have both, so I understand why you would be torn.
I really enjoyed the detail in your video. I had no idea this was a limited item - so disappointed that I might not get one. What did you decide? I am a Monogram girl, too. I love the canvas more, but I love the dark brown interior on my Damier pieces. Such a tough choice :)

I kept the monogram one but sold it December 2020.

I have done a mix and match with my pieces if the interior color is matching or coordinating.
