  • Welcome to the second installment of our journey from Dallas, Texas to Barcelona, Spain by way of Miami! This video explores American Airlines' non-refurbished, three-cabin Boeing 777-200ER on a 4,700 mile trip from Miami, Florida to Barcelona, Spain. Miami International is American's tertiary Eastern hub and their primary Latin American gateway. Barcelona El Prat International is a major European hub for Vueling, EasyJet, Norwegian Air Shuttle, and Ryanair. The 777 has flown with American since 1999, and this particular airframe has been with them since 2001. Though I failed to sleep a wink on this flight, I enjoyed it greatly, and I hope that you enjoy this video! Be sure to subscribe and be among the first to catch the final two installments of this incredible four-part series! The next installment will cover Norwegian Air Shuttle's 737-800 service from Barcelona to London Gatwick, so stay tuned for more!!

As I watch this video, I want to give a special shout-out and thank you to the crew of AA112. They were the nicest, friendliest employees that I have ever encountered while flying, and they really went above and beyond to make sure that this passenger enjoyed his flight. My father lost his wedding ring on this flight, and each of the flight attendants working the Business Class cabin pitched in to search for it until it was found underneath my sister's seat. I had the pleasure of meeting the captain and first officer while touring the flight deck, and I could tell that the captain especially loved what he does for a living and had the kind of joyful, energetic spirit about him that you love to see in a flight crew, and that translates to everyone under his command. On the way out, the FA's gifted me an extra collectable amenity kit, smiled, wished me a happy vacation in Europe, and reminded me why I am an AA frequent flyer. For that, I thank them and wish them all happy travels.

I would've loved to have flown BA, but we were on a family trip and working under a budget, and DY had the best deal. As for the line in BCN, that was a peak hour for trans-Atlantic arrivals and everyone was heading to customs.

I am just at around the 6:50 mark. Is that the Admiral's Club in Terminal E? I have only been in the one in Terminal C. Everyone in an AA uniform, doing one job or the other, and especially at DFW, has treated me like my last name was Buffett. I don't mean Jimmy but I am sure if one of his Falcons broke, AA would treat him like he was a Billionaire. Watching this video makes me long for DFW even more. Thanks for sharing.

Did no one notice the American 777 in the background at 13:33. It had its reversers on as it was taxiing! It was off the runway and actually was at a standstill and still had the reversers on! CRAZY STUFF!

Great video ...........................Im an AA employee right here in Miami and I want to thank you and your family for flying wth us.All of our AA 777-200ER are being reconfigured with the 3-3-3 configuration in coach and with new Boeing amenities just to be similar to our brand new FLAGSHIP B777-300ERW . I hope next time you can have the great experience on one of our brand new Boeing aircraft. But the line in customs I nearly cried lol for being so long. Thank you so much Herbert Carrillo Ramp Miami

That's the Miami people, they seem to not grasp a concept easily and need things to be explained to them, very slowly. The confusion runs rampant in Miami.

+bushyconn It took about 45 minutes-1 hour to get out of the airport, so not too bad. But there was no priority for business class, we were all in one line.

Why was there an American West amenity kit on an American Airlines flight. This is why the A,
Mexican carriers will never compete the other world major carriers. The food was subpar and the presentation was that of a third rate carrier
