Thanks for the great video Claudio. The best piece of advice that you gave which I completely agree with is to
sit down and just work with it and try out everything before you go looking for others presets. It's not surprising
what sounds and patches you can come up with on your own.

Nice tips! Just upgraded from the GP100 to the 200 and this was helpful as the UI was a bit different.

Thanks Claudio, excellent presentation for the installation of the new firmware and what we will see on the screen with its possibilities.
You didn't need to talk about the looper update, could you talk about that too?
Thank you very much for your contribution

Hi Claudio, I've just ordered a GP200 - Valeton were doing a special discount and I have 30 days to return it if it doesn't suit. Now, I bought this to see if it would meet my gigging needs, but there is a MAJOR problem with the unit I've since discovered. If you have Valeton's ear maybe this is something you can raise with them because it could be a make or break feature for me & other gigging players.
The problem is this - it's great you now have 8 control switches. But on stage you MUST be able to see what each Control switch is set to - it's simply not possible to remember what these do in each patch just be seeing A,B,C,D etc. As an absolute priority Valeton need to quickly add a control switch naming facility so you can see on screen what each switch does. Otherwise the facility is effectively useless and this is going to be a deal breaker for me and many others. Where I'm so surprised is that the GP200 has so many thoughtful gigging features yet this glaring oversight by Valeton is just ridiculous. I have a Pod Go and it wasn't until Line 6 added snap-shot naming and colour coding options for each footswitch that the snapshots became useful live. By the way, can you choose footswitch colours or is it still just yellow for off, red for on?
I know that v1.5 has just come out but as far as I'm aware this hasn't addressed this issue, If there's anything you can do to get this issue to Valeton, please let me know asap? If I know it will be added I'll keep it. Otherwise, I'm going to have to return it.
One quick query that I can't find an answer to - is the edit software compatible for Windows 7? Many thanks.

Did you follow the video to do the update? Its pretty straight forward to do. Download Zip, extract program, Download Firmware, extract it from the zip, back up your presets, install the new software, run firmware update. Its all in the video, i know its boring, but just watch it through i explain everything. 😆

Make sure you buy a good data cable to connect the GP200 to your computer. I have had this issue with gear from China. They do not supply good cables e.g. needed new cables for my Fender lt40 travel amp as well as the Fender GTX 100 I bought a few years ago to use the Fender Tone software for both.
