I remember when isak was playing at sociedad and a lot of arsenal fans said that he is not proven enough and he didn't scored enough goals at Sociedad blah blah blah. Look now what we missed out on and how he is doing at newcastle. That's why fans who don't want sesko saying that he is not proven prolific enough would be right here 2 years leater crying saying why we missed out on him. That's why fans should trust what the manager and board wants because they know more than us what we need at this moment. Especially when arteta and edu has made most signings correct at their tenure so far

Im not one of those fans, I wanted isak but we was at a different point in our development and isak was already doing big things for Sweden before then. Sesko is a project player. Any project player when we are trying to win things is a risk. Simple it’s literally taking a gamble. And as good as isak has been that injury record is terrible. It’s all about availability also because we have a striker that didn’t even play half the season and finished on 4 goals
It was edu and arteta who chose not to sign isak,not the fans.

Football is not linear for God's sake why do we keep having the same argument? Arsenal do not need a massive change they need a marginal change. Can they go from Nketiah being a bad option to having Sesko as a good option? Can they have a midfielder in the 6 that isn't injured for half a season every season like Partey? Can they have a more reliable left back than Zinchenko? These are the main questions, not 'Does Arsenal need a 30 goal a season striker in a market that has none?'

Whos the prolific striker we need to be signing? Most of the strikers around we've been linked to have only had like one 20 goal season. Lets be real the market kind of stinks for a top striker. Sesko has been playing big man football for 5 years now yeah he's still raw in terms of finishing and he only started being a regular in the 2nd half of the season for Leipzig so while the numbers don't look amazing for the amount of appearances he's made most of them apps were sub appearances in the 1st half of the season. If he was to go to a Chelsea and bang you and every other fan will be at Artetas neck saying "Why didn't we sign this guy he was right there?!" If we sign him or someone else does and he flops then you can save this comment and comeback to it and cook me for being wrong.
