He renovated this pre-war apartment into a stunning jewel box complete with a painting bar instead of one that holds adult beverages! The apartment also has access to the private Gramercy Park--only accessible by key--which is an added bonus for anyone who lives on the perimeter of the park. Enjoy!

The interior design not only reflects his personality, but also the lushness of the park and trees. It's really well thought out, with the designed layout and specific design elements and artwork, even down to the china and glassware. Mostly, I like that it's not over-done. There's a simplistic elegance, refinement and moodiness that is so appealing. Love this home!

❤❤❤❤ I love his hidden away powder room - especially the clear push-to-open panel on the door! The colors are so rich throughout his apartment. His credenza used as a work desk makes me rethink how to change out my desk in the livingroom to a piece that is always functional but pleasantly cohesive with the other furniture - plus can used as a buffet table for gatherings!
These high end New York Apts are so fabulous, and have so much character. I would love to live in that location next to the park. You can actually have your own key to the entrance. 😮

I love pre-war/between the wars architecture. (I have a c 1920s midwest Arts and Crafts Bungalow myself.) I really like the way he has honored the bones of his home and still updated and reconfigured to current needs. I would have done a massive library wall where he has the screen, but I have a bit of a book problem LOL. Totally stealing the idea of mouthwash in crystal!
Yes, now I know what to do with my parents' crystal decanter that no longer has its matching glasses.

Yes... a nest! I always say I love to feather my nest. Also I have a dark navy camel back old sofa and and chair. I love the rich saturated colors, so your home feels so calming and peaceful to me. Looking out your bedroom window is like living in a treehouse. And.... I would expect nothing less from your closet !!! Immaculate , organized perfection.
He is a magpie in the best sense in that he has feathered his nest with all his favorite things, but in a way that is cohesive and makes sense. We should all be so fortunate!

I love your “nest” and may I say you hit it outta the park with your jewel box. I love the color combination and the amazing use of space. It’s hard to choose a favorite with so much beauty but I’d say that area rug is insane. I’ve never seen anything so perfect. I’ve watched 3 times and still find a new delight. Thanks for sharing!

This man is a master of color and assembling a cohesive palette of complementary colours, patterns, and fabrics. The before was harsh from a lighting perspective but he added a massive mix of color yet the space is properly light balanced. His home is clearly expensive as he has not skimped on anything yet it does not shout "I'm Expensive". I will be creating my next home in the Netherlands and I could truly benefit from his talents but expect his sort of skills are $$$$$. Thank you Homeworthy.

The color green is my favorite too. The kitchen may be small but so calming and bright, the wallpaper is beautiful.

Beautiful colors and designs for an apartment that overlooks Gramercy Park...it just seems to belong there. A bit moody and "old-school," but with some modern touches, which I like. He has also paid careful attention to details.
A beautiful apartment in a lovely area with a private garden. As is mentioned it looks very reminiscent of a garden square in London. In England, a 1000 sq ft one-bedroom apartment would not be considered small and would more than likely have two smaller bedrooms.
It isn't considered small in the US either. Everything is relative, particularly when it comes to money.
