Me and my best friend Heather went to London in 2019 for 2 nights, 3 days. It was my first ever proper trip to London despite living in the UK all my life. We had so much fun and I really enjoyed making a scrapbook of my memories in a travellers notebook insert, using photos, tickets, receipts and mementos and decorating with papers, washi tape and stickers.
I used lots of American Crafts 'Thickers' alphabet stickers, as well as stickers from the American Crafts sticker books which I have linked as best I can below.

Hatchards is basically where the Royal family get their books, it has royal stamps from the Queen,the Duke of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales. It’s also the oldest bookshop in London

I’ve not been to London since I was 15 which is 19 years ago now yikes! I’m hoping to take my husband next year for his 40th birthday. I love a chunky journal yours is so lovely. I love that you documented every bit as it’s such a lush memory keeper to have. Tfs Laura xx

Hi Katie. I enjoyed the flip and the stories behind the photos and ephemera you used. It caught my attention though that there's not journaling in any of the pages. Because of my own experience, I always write a short story about the "behind the scenes", or why I took certain picture (I even take notes on the spot many times)... so when I look at my journals in some years time and read it, it automatically takes me to those moments. Memories are precious and although you can now talk vividly about your trip, details are forgotten with time and in the future you might not remember many of the situations and anecdotes that you lived by only looking at these pages. But anyway, that's me... the one with the memory of a goldfish 😉! TFS. Isabel

I agree, writing is important and I would love to include it, I do in some of my other journals and going forward I probably would. I often get scared ill ruin the page with my handwriting 😖 but what you say is very true, those memories should be stored and treasured ❤
@@KatieCosmoArt Haha, the handwriting gives it the uniqueness, the personal touch! But I know what you mean. I stick the photos on envelopes and add the story inside, or make a pocket with the picture and add a tag behind, ... there are many ways to hide the writing 😉. This wass the first of your videos I've watched so I'm not familiar with your style. Anyway, you did a great job. Isabel 💛

Hi, thank you and thanks for watching! I just arrange them on an app like Canva, and then print them on my home printer on an a4 sheet and cut them up. I tend to use a photo quality paper but nothing fancy at all.
lovely journal flip through and I think the Large heading goldish and mixed colour labels are fantastic. Where did you get them from please?
Thank you! I love stickers! I think you might be referring to the Maggie Holmes stickers? They were from the Maggie Holmes sticker book, I'm not surenif those are still available but I'll try and find a link for you!

What do you use to print your photos? (app/tech)
Canva! It's great for arranging photos on an album page as I print them on my home printer which is hp envy 6300. I sometimes get photos printed at boots too but these were just on photo paper on printer 😊 tfw
I get so sad, my journal is so poor and boring if I compare to yours and other people :(
Oh don’t say that! You shouldn’t compare to others, it’s all about learning and sharing and getting better together 😌
