    The CT-114's a pilot's plane. It's fully manual - no fly-by-wire. The pilot really is one with their craft. That's the biggest part of the Snowbirds' mystique. Those men and women are the best there is - they have to be in order to fly a legend. . .

    Hopefully they (snowbirds) got to fly in the F-35. Canada’s next fighter jet 🤞

      I vote no, Canada isn’t buying the plane so no. Why should US tax payers flip the bill to entertain you?

      Well, we don't know right now There is still a rather good chance that Canada will wind up with the F35. Canada did spend funds on the F35 to be part of the original commitment to the F35 program. Politics messed things up, but as it stands now, we likely will get F35's, or Super Hornets. So, at this point I feel that we Canadians will wind up with some USA fighter jet - either fighter makes a lot of sense for Canada.

    Great video! Can you explain a bit more just how much the g-suit helps you verses not wearing one? Can you still easily pull all the maneuvers you do in your demos?

    • @kamp.4466
      @kamp.4466 Před 5 lety +2

      Hey, if you want a response directly from Dojo, I would recommend leaving a comment on one of his IG posts. His @ is @andyo_dojo and he usually responds to questions. However, I may be able to answer your question. Whenever you pull a lot of G's, the blood is forced down towards your legs and away from your brain. And when your brain gets deprived of blood flow, you can black out, possibly crashing in the process. So, the G-suit actually tightens around your lower body in order to "squeeze" your legs and force the blood back up to your brain, thus preventing you from losing consciousness. So, G-suits help out a lot for maneuvers that pull 5+ G's (or so I assume). Without a G-suit, you have to take short, choppy breaths and really tighten your leg muscles. Hope that helped!

      A g-suit really just stops the blood from rushing away from your head so you don’t get deaded.
