Sorry for the loss. These are the danger signs that need immediate attention - convulsions - not drinking or breastfeeding -vomiting everything -lethergy/ unconsciousness These are international signs which should alarm the health care worker and action taken immediately.

This reminds me of King David whe he sinned against God.He fasted and prayed and God heard him and restored him though his child never made it.After that God blessed him with another son Solomon,my advice is just know that you’re all been forgiven and God is ready to bless you and see you through the loss and pain as He did to David.

You guys did superb in crafting a story that bewildered and had us astonished. Puritans might claim that what you did was evil, but anyone with an appreciation for drama would give it to you. Your story had those Oedipus mythology type of flair. It is every parent’s responsibility to see that they provide for their offspring. Desperate times calls for desperate and you guys did what it took to generate an income. Man must live. It is unfortunate that with all that effort the infant did not make it. However, the death of the child is not related to your actions but the sad state of our healthcare where child mortality remains relatively high and predominantly affecting people from low incomes. If your infant could access the Agakhan’s and the Getrudes, she’d be probably alive. Medical negligence is so rife in Kenya. God is not vindictive, and that’s where my opinion and those of the host differ as she wants to lead these to believe that their ordeal is a punishment for wrongdoing.
As much as I want to believe you i also believe God wants to straighten our character and he does it through His own way which sometimes can be a little tough. God loves these folks so much as to correct them, they didn't have to concoct such a weird tale All they had to do was come to the show and ask for help by explaining their situation.

They caused multiple dramas at home recently when their child died in JM kariuki hospital...that really pissed off many. One thing........they must mature up

I also blame the health worker who referred them back to where she gave birth when the baby was that sick. The emergency was for the baby and in any case they could have examined the mother too.

Triaging enables the health staff pick out emergency cases for speedy intervention. The hospital failed the infant. They acted very unprofessionally.
