in the worst guys, at 1 46 you can see a large wound on his lower leg. While he was in the water an alien entered through his body. in the video sweatpants everyone in the diner is a "gambalien" and by the ending everyone turns into gambino, the whole point of all of them being there was to be secret. as they all were meeting up to discuss on how they were going to take over the world. in 3005 everyone on the ferris wheel is young in the beginning and the teddy bear is clean. while the video progresses the bear starts to desecrate and the people in the back start aging and growing old, gambino stays the same meaning the alien form that took over his body has a side effect of not aging. also at the end the town is on fire meaning the gambaliens took over the town. this video shows that while gambino is on a getaway with Jhene Aiko, the townspeople discover that gambino is not just an outsider, hes some sort of extraterrestrial alien and that he is a threat. i also found that at 1:37 if you look at the very left inside of the cabin that you can see someone almost crawling or sneaking, this could easily reference to a line in 3005 that says "Assassins are stabbed in the back of my cabin" or it could have been a crew member in the shot, still worth pointing out. so in the ending they try to get rid of him and protect Jhene. but they didn't really plan the attack so they died. at this point gambino lost everything, his girl, his respect for himself (he never wanted to become an alien like he did and wanted nobody to know about it) and he figured out that he needs to leave and find something new. thats everything leading up to this video, the final piece is actually the song "sober." in sober the time period is estimated to be in the future of the last videos. theres snow falling and everything seems normal. the video takes place in a carry out restaurant where gambino is attracted by a girl who doesnt really give him the time of day and thinks he's some creep. after she gives him the chance they start dancing together and having fun. but even that didnt keep her around for long as she leaves the food place and he feels sad and alone again.

I also feel that if sober was in the ''because the internet'' timeline, then the gambaliens would have over taken the world and there would be no other person then gambino. but that's just my opinion

I interpret this video as basically the locals (people from his past) know he's a monster/a bad person/a loser. Gambino is trying to leave that behind him and start fresh with Aiko. But the past won't let it go. They see him and see him doing well, so confront him about his demons and thus, bring the monster out of him. Aiko loves him regardless of his history. It's deep fam.

It's crazy how i watched this and almost all of Gambino's other videos go from the hundred thousands (and some even less) to the millions almost overnight once he dropped redbone. It's amazing how one song can propel an artist to bigger heights then their entire previous catalog combined. And then that exposure results in the boom of sales in all their previous work. Which then goes to show that the music was always good. Some people just didn't know of him, while others need to be TOLD what to like without even realizing it. Many people don't like an artist until other people do, or until that specific artist gets steady rotation on the radio and music video networks. It's like they won't like somebody until it's confirmed by the masses or the labels that it's good music. Smh. Gambino BEEN tight. At least he's now getting the props he deserves tho. Better late than never.

This video was shot in Kauai which is why he released this video at this exact moment. He had this video shot about two months ago because he posted the artwork (the photo that was shown in the video) around that time. The editing and cinematography (which is top quality) probably took them a long time to edit together which is why it wasn't ready to be released then. Also, the release of STN MTN/Kauai was about a week ago (*cue Schmoney dance music*) so this was the perfect time to release this music video. And the fact that he did it at the ACL Festival was even more epic. And this ties into the screenplay that he released for Jhene Aiko is playing Naomi and Gambino is The Boy and this serves as a dream that The Boy has for him and Naomi. As for the ending, I think that's just Gambino telling the world that he's out of this world. If you look at his career, he's a screenwriter, comedian, rapper, producer, programmer, and this was a statement that he's not from this world. Also, this is telling Naomi that he will do anything for her love. Either way, we cannot deny Gambino's creativity in his music videos. The last music video was great and this is great too. And there aren't that many artists in general that would end a music video or take this much time on their videos or projects like this. Lastly, because this is on the internet, maybe Gambino is telling his fans to not believe the ending. Maybe he's telling his fans to believe only what he states about the video. Or maybe not. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I don't know anything. Maybe I should just leave it to everybody else on the internet. Or maybe we should just leave this to Gambino. Either way, believe whatever you want to believe.

*I haven't read the screenplay, so there are probably holes. My theory goes as follows:
In the Worst Guys video an extraterrestrial aquatic creature attached to and entered Gambino through his leg.
In the 3005 video Gambino is the only person on the ferris wheel that doesn't age as the video progresses. This reveals how he is not human, but instead some alien species that can take the form of other organisms such as in the 1978 film Invasion of the Body Snatchers or even Men in Black. Since Will Smith, the Boy's/Jaden Smith's father, hunts down aliens, the aliens decide to target his son, Jaden Smith in the form of Gambino. The apocalyptic image at the end of 3005 reveals the imminent end to man kind by the hands of aliens in the year 3005.
In the Sweatpants video the aliens are spreading rapidly. In the diner all of the people were aliens taking different forms so that they can discretely meet to discuss how they could take down the human race. By the end of the scene they all morphed into Gambino.
According to the Urn video , the aliens communicate by this strange animalistic form of dance/body movements. With the Gambino alien in the center of the circle, it suggests that he is the leader of the group of aliens. One alien even has fur.
The animalistic/strange dancing is also seen throughout the Telegraph Ave. video . When the Gambino alien enter the water he turns into his natural alien squid form (if you look at the tail closely, you can see they are tentacles) (EDIT- it looks more like a sea lion underwater not a tentacle creature. ) Finally when he gets hit by the car at the end, it reveals his true form to the one human he loves/cares for and wants to keep alive, Naomi aka Jhene.
Although this is a great theory, I think the "alien" is more to be taken as a metaphor for losing yourself, not knowing who you are or where you belong, than to be taken literally. I would highly suggest reading the screenplay because this video definitely puts it in an odd context.

Explanation of Telegraph Ave Video (full)
-Firefly is the start with the spaceship landing on Earth bringing the thing to Earth which a couple find and a man enters and launches back into space trapping the thing on the Earth.
-Next is Bonfire with the tale of the boy who died and is trapped reliving his murder over and over. The alien discovers him and absorbs his memories up to his death and takes his appearance.
-After that we have L.E.S. with the alien integrating into society as it lives and makes friends in NYC. It begins to forget what it is and thinks it's fully human.
-Following that is the Heartbeat video which details the beginning of a relationship he has with a human.
-The Worst Guys takes place after that with him falling in love with the woman and embracing human life.
-Telegraph Ave is the follow up and ending of that relationship with his rediscovery of what he actually is which leads into the next video.
-Sweatpants is his descent into insanity as he's torn between his belief the he's human and his rediscovery of what he actually is. He feels like he's constantly repeating his actions which leads to the loop and the humanity in him makes him see himself in everyone but he knows he's different.
-3005 is the climax with his conundrum of who he is as he descends into insanity which leads to the destruction of a city/the world.
-Urn is the end/epilogue where he finds peace with himself and with the remaining humans.

Everyone's going along with this "he's an alien thing". Here's my interpretation: if you notice, whenever he is hurt (gets hit by the car in this video, in the worst guys when he has that gash in his leg, in 3005 when everything is burning) he constantly stays by his lover. I think this is all just one big saga, even if you listen to the lyrics, telling a love story with the ups and downs and the great things but evil that can come out when it comes to loving someone. I may be completely wrong and delusional, but that's how i see it.
