the man took a rockstar helmet... and painted it RED BULL lmfao legendary
Ye did a good job cause red bull is better
lmfao
The helmet is one of the most cheapest you can find online, i think he only uses it for showing us how to do a repaint.
The dot certification is fake btw

This video was 29 minutes of sheer dedication, the amount of back and forth's you did making this is unreal
Great video…I’m curious why did he do the silver in a single shot. And the blue he kept pressing the button for small shots of paint.
Does it look professional? YES IT DOES!! Love your videos Martin. Anyone who wants to get into this type of painting needs to subscribe & watch your content. It's been a great help for me over the last 3 years. Cheers
I didn’t think that was possible. I’m insanely impressed.
"A bucket of piss warm water" haha love it
I came here to look for this comment hahaha
Can you share what is the exact color name of the paint. I just want to try it with my own. Thank you so much.
This is so rad!! I am about to start painting my helmet and have watched this video 10 times already. Hopefully I've learned something and it will work out well.
how did it go
@@korbenmurphy6693 not as hard as expected!
@@JamesWoodFCRX7 oh yeah and the end result ? it was good ?
its a shame to see dislikes. this is such an amazing dedication and wonderful job. even teh logos are painted and not just rnadom stickers. the amount in making the video, the efforts are amazing.. only one thing was missing --> the BEFORE and AFTER pics alongside just for fun.. great work champ !
That makes me happy that he took a rockstar helmet for redbull 😂
Thank you for this clear explanation! For me this is the most useful video on how to spray a helmet with spraycans I found so far.
Painted logos and not just a sticker with clear coat over it, awesome job!
I'm Brazilian and I don't miss a video of you. You are the best! My congratulations for your professionalism!
Ow, those memories... I repainted my helmet to Red Bull design about 9 years ago. I had no experience. Only head full of ideas and a passion. All logos/letters cuted by hand, without help of a computer... I did some mistakes, but overall I really loved how it turned out!
I see it everyday in my room... Wish I had more time nowadays and try to do it again...
Well this video was 30min, you could have started lol
@@buickjam 30 edited, 1 hour of filming for sure. Probably 1 to 3 HOURS of work if you're not a professional and without printed stickers.
only prob with this helmet is you better kick ass wearing it ;)
You have it backwards. When you wear this helmet... you just kick ass.
Didn't realize it was a 29min up until the end. High quality content just like your paint works! Very informative and entertaining. Keep it up!
I love this kind of artistry. One wears this artwork. Without this kind of thing the world is boring. F__king badass!
A masterclass in attention to detail and being methodical
You cleary have an amazing talent to both do your job and entertain us at the same time. Keep em coming
Hey Martin. I love how you are giving away all the information for free, but basically you're really showing how much time, effort and value you put in to your work. Then, the only people who would do this are professionals who getting paid for it or an amateur obsessed with doing it themself. This only shows why someone would pay to get the job done if they wanted it done right.
From my perspective of view no one will pay the amount of time spent in a project like this.
Thanks a lot for this video! I was watching motocross on TV and was inspired. I came across your video and watched it 3 times and got to work. The results were amazing! I've never done anything like this before but with your instruction it came out great! Thanks again!
Thanks to you now I know that I can’t do this.
Very nice job Martin, I love that ‘fantastic’ energy xD
Great guy to watch.....ive been painting for years.....and this guy still learns me a few things.....brilliant at what he does....
This guy clearly knows what he’s doing, but I’m blown away. That looks like a professional paint job.
Family friendly and goes straight to... Yeah hahaha love it
Amazing job. Looks like the real deal.
How can anyone not like these videos? He is a master of his craft.
You have me nearly speechless...that job is outstanding.
Amazing job, coating makes the difference! You rate it 7-8 as a painter who done this as his job, obviously for someone like me it is a very difficult task but I will definitely want to try to make my helmet like I really want!! Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks 👍
First video I've seen from you - awesome video and awesome job! New subscriber now!
We're 2 now ;)
Soooo funny, love that, looks great. I would not be able to do such an amazing paint job in million years practicing. Your videos are superB.
very underrated channel should have more subs.. best spray paint channel good job
I prefer a Red Bull over a Rockstar all day long. That helmet looks awesome. Well done sir.
That was a treat to watch.
Martin deserves more likes and comments for some sweet youtube recognition!
Awesome work. I have a spare helmet that I was wondering what to do with but you've just inspired me to paint it. Nice work, sir :)
Absolutely awesome, or should I say fabulously fantastic. It's wonderful to find actual professional experts providing advice and guidance here. Loved the commentary too (not so much the music or its volume) .
The only thing missing or I missed (will watch again) is the timings, eg between coats, applying stickers etc. However, let's be honest here, I will no doubt make the same mistakes I've always made before in either poor preparation, too much paint, etc (patience is the key)
I love the tutorial! I'm just curious how come you did a nonstop spray for the metallic, but interval spraying and 3 layers of the blue? I just bought Montana paint and aren't sure which technique to use!
Vinyl decal question: what size (roughly) were the small decals that were placed around the helmet? And any tips on finding where to buy them online? I see a lot of people selling color ones not just cut out plain color stickers. I’d love to try this project out with a spare helmet I have. Thanks for any advice and awesome video!
Did you get a reply because I’m thinking of painting my helmet as well. I already have it apart and masked!
Painting by never letting the nozzle go.. a new technique for me.. will try it out.. thanks for the video!
How can anyone give a ‘down thumbs’ to this genius artist? Philistines!
The racing stripes flower pots seem to be an untapped market opportunity!
5:38 "links in the description" thats the prove he is 100% german 😂
You did an amazing job. Thank you for the video.
Absolutely fantastic video tutorial !
What a legend you are keep the videos coming 👏 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great video! I am curious as to the “pull the trigger and never let it up” part? Procedure for the metallic itself due to its chemical makeup? Proper flow?
auch wenn ich mich wiederhole: Absolut perfekte Professionelle Arbeit!!!!
Super mit welcher Freude und sehr guten Erklärung du uns für die Welt der Farben begeistert!!!!
Bitte weiter so!! Grüße
Only just seen this. I remember the name ETOE as one of europes premier Klien mountain bike sprayers. Fantastic skills
Those cans have amazing atomization. Nice man
Amazing job... i normally heat my cans in a bath of hot water before use
Great video. Thank you. Just trying to find out temperature of piss warm water.
Just comfortably warm. Exact temperature is not important. Not cold but not hot.
37 degrees C
so much work! love you!
Congratulations ETOE!! You are superb!! I love your usefull video!!!
Would be interesting to see the result without using a dustfree paint cabin. People who use cans do not have a dustfree paint cabin...
Next best option is what I did in my garage to rattlecan a car. Go to home depot, buy sheets of plastic, hang it on all sides and ceiling. Throw water down on the ground to keep dust from getting kicked up. If you want ventilation, take two box fans and two central air AC filters, cut two square holes, tape the fans to the plastic, tape filters to the fans. Boom at home paint booth for like 45 bucks.
@@pirateoftheweb3813 Thanks for your tips👍
Why did the paint pull off with the decal when you accidentally let off the cap for a split second?
I was also wondering the same thing
I was wondering this too. Maybe the color layer got too light in that spot?
also curious about this.
I cannot imagine that this is the real reason... I always do canjobs. And i let the off the cap way too often in his opinion... but nothing happened.
Because since its aerosol, as you're laying down the paint it's a constant sheet of material. If you let off and spray again solvent comes out that propels the paint. It leaves a thin area and the paint isnt bonded in one whole complete coat. You see when you pain auto body parts from bare you wrap the paint around the corners and it locks the paint on. This is why when you pay for cheap paint jobs on cars they only last a few years.
J will proudly wear that helmet. Exellent job. Grettings from Serbia.
I really enjoyed this video you have a kool sense of humor and are talented keep up the great work
Where can i buy boiling hot water? I need it real bad to start my sanding.
I know someone who sells piss warm water but not boiling, sorry..
How about a simple “ Job well done sir”
Sehr geil!! Würde meinen Helm auch gerne neu lackieren aber das bekomme ich auf keinen Fall so gut hin wie du es gemacht hast!!!
Very insightful video! Thank you for doing this.
Pls! Do custom paint groupsets like ultegra or dura ace!
Only carbon crank sets are possible.
@@ETOE why is that?
@@VisualKIt.Studios Carbon has varnish layer that can be sanded away, but aluminum is anodized and would need excessively prepped to the raw surface and smoothed.
dude I'm stoned out at 6am watching this and all I gotta say, maddd respect
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You did an amazing job. Bravo!
That's look dope.. for sure. I bought a compressor, but still experimenting with cans
Please! Make a tutorial how to paint from A to Z
First off, great video, very informative. I struggled with the audio though. I believe this level of quality could use better adjusted levels. I had to keep adjusting my volume......again though, great content
Did great...and love the way you perform it....you did it in a.....fantastic way❤

I use a primer made for the Shell of the Helmet.
@@ETOEWelche Grundierung für Fiberglas, welche für Thermoplast?
@@BillyRillkratz welches Thermoplast genau?
@@ETOE Das, aus dem der Helm hergestellt wurde. Es könnte eines von diesen sein: Polycarbonat, Advanced Thermo Material (ATM), ABS, Ectrolon, Lexan, Ronfalin,... Welche Grundierung nimmt man da?

Damn right, my friend made 2 of these and made a video of it how to do it, video went viral, couple of days past and email from redbull, allmost on court with them.
They say like only we can use this design and our drivers, on end of contract drivers return the gear etc...

You won't find redbull decals they don't make all that stuff like others. Only Redbull sponsored athletes.
I came straight to the comments to make sure someone had said this. Well done. I'm sorry for the idiots who didn't get it.
@@mymodel6 You mean "fantastic"... it was a fantastic joke. As fantastic as sanding the helmet. xD

Nice Job man! Your video will help me to paint my Helmet. Good tips!
Good paint job bud 👍👍👍
What about the surface tension getting damaged when sanding the helmet
Yeah, Never do this people!!! Especially with rattle cans that contain a higher amount of thinner/dilutant just to get them to come out of the can. I've been Fully qualified painter for years and Would never put my life at risk wearing an 'altered' helmet. I've done a few that are just for decorative purposes. If image is more important than safety, then bin your helmet and get a cool haircut.
@@TheScottishSprayer I was wondering about that. Would like to customize my helmet but have been wary of it, since all methods found ultimately affect the integrity of the helmet, be it by sanding or using paint that can be corrosive. And almost no video makes mention of this!!! I wonder about stickers though? In your experience, would sticker adhesive damage a helmet's integrity, for example, using duct tape all around?
The Scottish Sprayer so basically it’s the sanding that damages the surface tension because I’m not very aware to painting helmets, or it’s the paint?
Yeah I'd trust a sticker more I think but to be honest if the design is that big of an importance I'd recommend saving for a) a top end helmet with a design you love. Or b) a professional paint job by a helmet designer. (Someone who specialises in helmets only, and knows the specs of paints, reactions and tolerances) I follow someone on Insta who does a load of pro drivers helmets.
You can paint a helmet without damaging the surface. Please check this video for an explanation of what to do: amzn.to/2QNFB2R
Awesome work. And your best video so far. Almost spat out my coffee when you are talking about ‘Fantastic’ sanding and warm water for pussies. 👍👍
Wicked man really good. Great vid and what a pro you are..
awesome, thinking of doing this on my full face helmet 😁 🙌🏼
would love if you could do mine? 😁 interested in collab work? 😁
is everybody just gonna sit back and say nothing about how that helmet is faker than my ex’s feelings for me ?
I was thinking the same thing
alex DANA420 It’s an knockoff for sure. For all intents and purposes it’s a good helmet to experiment on before dropping in on a 400$ lid.
ETOE i like ur videos much but plx make music volume a little bit lower, cuz when i hear u when u speak its good and after i got blast by music...
And the edges of masked plastic would look better if u remove the plasics.
In terms of difficulty it has to be a 9 for us mere mortals. Maybe a 7 for you lol. Superb skill and craftsmanship on display here.
Very funny man 😂😂 but also very crafted. Good clean job !!
You didn’t do the helmet drop- maybe it’s someone else’s 😢
That helmet looks.... Sketchy, the construction I mean, doesn't look solid enough to protect. You in a crash. Looks. Like a lot of the cheap ones on wish.
Good job on the paint job dude. Please warn people to. Check what they are doing with the oem though some sprays can damage the thermoplastic of cheap helmets.
Yep. I'd never spray a plastic helmet. Wouldn't wear one either but that's a different discussion.
Absolute beast!
