I’m still worried about the past rush…..last year every game we lost was due to NO ELITE PASS RUSH ….smh WDE 🐅🦅
I'm not sure I would say that was the cause of every loss but it certainly didn't help

I'd expect him to say I made a mistake going with thorne and I'm going with someone else. That's what he should say
They took away his attempts because he showed he couldn't pass worth a crap

Old school here, but if PT can be like a Brandon Cox, 9 wins. Big "if" just think about it.

PT doesn't have the arm strength that Brandon Cox had.
Plenty of QBs have been successful without strong arms.
The issue for him is timing and anticipation.
Those are bigger concerns for me

Cox stood tall in the pocket and delivered the ball. He got hammered over and over. Thorne goes in the fetal position when he sees a blitz coming. Don’t disrespect Cox’s massive hairy boys by trying to compare him to a guy that is scared to death to get hit.
First 4 games, their needs to be some expectations set for Thorne. One, you score enough to only play 4 quarters. And, you pass for min 200 yards in each of those 3 quarter games. Thoughts?
I am not sure about the number of passing yards, but the number of scoring possessions, yes.

I got you. For my own nerdy self, 200 yards over 3 qrtrs what extrapolate to a 3200 yd season. I'm just hoping the play calling and his performance and the team can show where he can be an effective passer. These four opponents, at home, it's not going to get any easier than that say for homecoming game. War eagle!

What freshmen? You have 1 freshman and 1 sophomore starting on offense. EVERYONE else is a senior. No freakin' excuses for PT this year. No stupid QB rotation. No OC that was watching Art Briles call plays in a different offense. This is all Nix, Freeze, and PT. IMO, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kentucky, A&M, and Alabama are all winnable. Should win the others except Georgia.
