Thank you so much for sharing your collection, love the coq au vin pot Chef, the oval with the chicken knob. I am eyeing on the different handles and will replace the original ones. I have only invested on 2 le creuset, a 26 cm merengue and the balti. I prefer the staub because of their self basting lids. Don ako masaya :) My special staub is the tomato shape cast iron and next will be the pumpkin which was moulded after Cinderella's pumpkin coach shape.

You brought tears to my eyes when you said, it's not the price but the value because I also started with just cheap goods (mostly secod hand actually) when we first got married. But now, 29 years married this December 2022, I can proudly say I have been around the world like you (mostly luxury cruises mind you) and enjoy cooking again due to your passion. Though it is just my husband and me and our youngest son with us) I still love to cook. Thanks for rekindling my cooking interest and now, instead of collecting shoes, bags and clothes, I am collecting quality cookware again. Have you heard of the Iris Oyama cookware? I love them, as the handles are removable and they have separate lids that can be used when storing the pots and pans. They're from Japan. Just got my pink cast iron Dutch oven pot too, plus waiting for the oval one.I also got the braiser,etc.. Cheers and keep up the great work and best of luck to your business. The “mantsa” that accumulates on your carbon steel/cast iron pan is called patina.
