    This was a great start however, by adjusting the family 2" up, you can make a tighter reveal around the edge of the roof. Thanks for a great tutorial.

    Thanks for your tutorial. It's very great. May I ask how can I make Autodesk Robot able to define the roof as a dead loading if I transfer the model from Revit to Robot for further analysis?

    • @LetsRevit
      @LetsRevit  Před 4 lety +1

      @@destroyerdestroyer1927 Check the video @7:53 . I have created the family of battens and then loaded that family in the project file.

  • @saimasohail6227
    @saimasohail6227 Před 4 lety

    But i think u need good system to use this kind of family.give some tips so that system will not be hanged .

    • @LetsRevit
      @LetsRevit  Před 4 lety

      You can omit the battens part while placing the tiles. And you can place the tiles on that part of the roof from where you want to have a render.
      Mostly these tiles are used on the roofs of a residential project and usually the projects of houses are of smaller scale so I think the system will not cause any problem.

      In the family file, select the surfaces and give it the material parameter and then assign material to it.

      The pause button is a great tool to use, I use it on all the tutorials I watch... It is not their job to slow down for you, use your pause button when you need it.
