Before i have to reply to lots of comments saying "why not use a hacksaw" or "use a bandsaw or jigsaw" or "use a hole saw"- this is the best method i know with the tools i have, unless you can show me otherwise a hack saw will not cut a concave curve like that and i don't have a band saw etc. if you would would like me to buy a band saw, or a magic hacksaw that cuts really tight curves feel free to join patreon or donate to me via paypal and i will buy one - LINKS IN DESCRIPTION

@@WeaponCollector Lol yes he suggested a four leaf clover, a leprechaun or a shillelagh, but I went with my own choice. The Wicker man was a great film.

This is a simple design but folks don't understand the precision and detail it takes to create something symmetrical and simple.
Anyone can beat out a blob of a slingshot, making it square and symmetrical takes some patience!

Here are some tips to help you because anyone willing to make an aluminum slingshot the hard way like you is willing to put some effort into shooting a slingshot. You should get some GZK China Green or Simple-Shot Premium Black flat bands. The thinner the more zip you get but they don’t last long. Thicker last longer but you trade speed for longevity. You can taper them too. Something like 25mm to 20mm is good for target shooting. You will get way better power and consistency with them. You have your bands to long for your draw. Find out your draw length and then cut your bands down to tune them. For example if your draw length is 71cm you should divide that by 5.5 for band length of 12.9 cm to 13 cm. That large of a pouch really slows down your ammo try a smaller pouch that is just big enough to hold your ammo. Hold the slingshot fully sideways and your aiming point is the top tip of the fork. Put that under your target. Your pouch with a slingshot fork that wide should be around the middle of your check and by moving that up, down, left or right will move your shot. Watch some videos over on the Simple-Shot or Fowler’s Makery and Mischief on how to shoot.

Very nice, now i wanna make one :), just a tip make a small hole in the center of that pouch will help the shot sit in the middle every time.
