      Trust me, Russians are not heroes. Read about what happened when after IIWW, about Soviet Union, Polish People's Republic and so on. Russians were as bad as Nazis. You must believe me- my grandmother told me all things that Russians done and this is terrible. So before you will glorify someone read about them. +Lew Tołstoj its better that the Soviets weakened the Nazis didnt it? Sure many Soviets are evil. Lets say a U.S troop shot someone in Vietnam. The mother of that Vietnamese person is crying. She just saw her son got shot by this U.S soldier. In the eyes of the mother, the U.S soldier is evil. So yes, people have their opinion. The course of history will definitely be different if it wasnt for the Russians to weaken the Nazis

      Really, you really want to make the case that Nazi Germany was worse then the Soviet Union ? Have you ever heard of the kulaks ? The Soviet Union seized the land from ukrainian farmers they deemed opressive and killed thousands of them. You know what happened because of that ? 6 million ukrainians died of starvation, things got so bad they started eating themselfs and the goverment had to remind it's citizens that it was wrong to eat their children. During soviet regime they estimate something around 20~80 million deaths happened.

    • @andreyknyazev9179
      @andreyknyazev9179 Před 6 lety +87

      Please, why are you talking about Ukrain only? My grandmother lived in Saratov area (Volga) - have you ever heard about starving in Volga region? They are talking about ukranians only, but this happened in several regions of the country. My grandmother was a child this time and she remembered everyting. 20-80 millions victims? Please, dont be the victim of propaganda yourself. As a Russian i think Stalin repressions were bad, but I can understand why they happend as it was a big price but the result was huge. Soviet Union became the leading country in the world for such a short period of time. Nazis - they are beasts - pure killers. I think there is no sense to explain you what I feel when I even read this word. I would sacrifice myself as did many people from my country to stop them. This camparison between communism and nazis is a dangerous trend, which means for me that nazi can come to power again. I think that mainly not Russians can have such oppinion that you have.

    This guys came to my school and this is an experience he had..it's so sad..
    He was waiting in line to go to the camp. He found his brother his aunt his family ect... His aunt has a baby and didn't want her baby to get taken away from her so him and his brother had an idea. There idea was that she can pretend she's breast feeding because they thought they would never take a breast feeding mother away from her baby and stuff. Well when it was her turn they snatched the baby away from her and she cried and screamed and tried running after it. One nazi got the baby and took it and the other was holding the aunt back. She finally got through and took her baby back but the nazi took it back and the other nazi came from behind her and hit her with a gun..she was on the floor and her last words were "let my baby go" in a slight whisper ish kinda voice. She died then and there and the man speaking said he was glad she died so that she wouldn't have seen what they were gonna do to the baby. The nazi threw the baby up in the air..caught it's leg and slammed it against a rock. Sad. Him and his brother watched it all.
