Describing a spooky setting

Today’s lesson gets the children thinking about how they can describe a spooky haunted mansion using their senses.
It gets the children thinking how they can show the reader how the character is feel rather than tell and this helps create more suspense.
The children could carry on from my example and create the ending for the story or they could make their own.
