I'm so glad to be back! Currently, I'm employed as a staff adjuster. Commercial Inland Marine Adjuster! I'm here to tell you about my pivot within the adjuster field and how its going!

I've been doing adjusting for close to 8 years now and I agree based on the stress an independent adjuster endures processing claims, long hours, management and lack there of & the insureds, a person needs at least 2 to 3 months a year to recover from a deployment. Unfortunately I've literally seen people pass away due to the struggles of adjusting. I pray that God continues to cover & keep you.

@@johntrevett2944 yes, unfortunately high stress can kill. People tend to develop heart issues and other vascular issues leading to a possible fatal attack. I love your picture by the way 😇✝️

I'm so glad to see you back. I can't wait to see your health videos. I went through some health scares doing teaching. I now left teaching to go into adjusting.
I appreciate the transparency of your current role in staffing. I have a hectic work/life balance with 2 kids under 5. That is the only thing that has halted my pursuit in going into claims adjusting. I’m so happy to hear you’re doing better ❤️

I’ve been working as a Consultant on large losses for 3 years, pretty much all I’ve done since getting my license. I recently moved to the IA daily path because I had to much down time between claims. I think I might enjoy being a Cat adjuster better, it’s only been a month so I’m going to feel it out a little more but if a hurricane hits I might never look back.
I’m a new IA. How do I become a CAT adjuster?
@@christiancoleman5452 You have to get on rosters first, then when a CAT hits start calling. I always advise networking… if you don’t know anyone in the business then go to the conferences and meet them. But make sure you are really ready when you get the call because CAT work is very fast paced, it’s like jumping on a treadmill that’s running at high speed.
Did you have to do anything special with appointment to become a staff adjuster? or were you able to start with being self appointed?
Hey. You look great for 7 kids! I have 6 and 4 grands. And was told about independent adjusting. So I been researching. Trying to figure out if this is for me. But I know I need a change and money. Cause making less that $20 and an hour is not the move. Yes you have to prioritize your health. I am doing the same

I have a background of more than 10 years clerical experience working at a hospital, scheduling, calling customers, verifying insurance. If there is advise you can give me would be appreciated. As an IA, what months were you taking off? What months were the least busy in general? Also, did you have to travel for trainings or deployments as a desk adjuster? How long were those trips and how often each year?

To be honest it just seems like your older and these problems aren’t from adjusting. Also berberine is GREAT STUFF. Always take the natural solution when you have an option.
